when you are in the reply screen, not the quick reply, you are given a tool box menu above the text box. The one with the globe is the one you want to click on. (insert/edit link) just pop your url in there and it will become an active hyperlink.SithLordExarKun wrote...

Making a link clickable is called hyperlinking. When you are writing a post look up to the toolbar and find the icon that looks like a globe with a paperclip. Highlight your "unique referral link" and CTRL-C it. Then with the link still highlighted click on the Hyperlink Icon. Link type = URL, Protocol = http://, URL = CTRL-V your link into this box. Then click ok.

Or just use the tags [*url*]link[*/url*] without asterisks.komenusai wrote...

The original thread, created mere minutes after the announcement. I've already earned over 500 tokens, please come here and I'll add you to our list, best not to split the base up.

I don't why we don't just make a thread with the specific purpose of giving the anyone in the Bioware community the chance to boost their "unique referral link" hits.
Assuming we can be courteous, everyone can post their own link and then click on all the previously posted links. We'll all get 500 tokens in no time, considering it would only take 50 other people to click on each link. It's not like your internet is charging per webpage, just click the link and close the window.
As long as the people who posted in the thread come back every day and click on the links, tons of people will have tons of points in no time. I don't see a rule against the concept, so the only complication is the momentary inconvenience of closing the opened links.
in the end, the people that make the effort will reap the rewards.
Meaning the people who post here will have a lot more points to bid
with.
I'll definitely come here and click on all the links once a day, if everyone else that posts their own links does the same.

P.S. If you have a problem with this idea, feel free to let me know why. This includes the devs. Otherwise, vocalize your support of the theory so more people catch on.
What would be the point in helping other people stay even with you? Isn't the goal for YOU TO WIN?

Not everybody has twitter, which means they can't participate in the challenges. Also not everyone can confidently rely on 50 people clicking on their links via facebook/ twitter/ myspace/ etc... The goal of this thread is to even the playing field.
To a lesser extent, participation in this thread makes it so people who make an extra effort win over those who don't. In other words, selfless people who choose to post in the thread and click on the links, stay equal... selfish people who dont post, don't fall behind.

It's a nice idea TC, I hope it works out for everyone. The people that can sit and do all the challenges are really going to wax us though if this is our best source of token gathering.
I'd like to be able to get a hoodie and send it to someone that is not eligable for the contest, it's my way of protest, so that's what I'm shooting for. I'm serious, not just saying that to get more clicks.

OP, your link leads to a 404. And so do eriaa's and MadLaughter's.
i think I know whats wrong. When the address is hyperlinked, sometimes a space accidentally slips in and produces a %20 at the end of the link. I fixed mine, Try it now.
