If you like that one here are the darkfall ones
Darkfall fyi is, was, a mmorpg with sandbox full loot pvp, the supposed holy grail await by many a minority player including myself for quite sometime.  It didn't turn out so when it was released, but thats another story.

Some guy made a bunch of funny videos about trying to buy darkfall through their hard to find online store which was only up 30 minutes a day, and allowed only 1000 copies to be sold per day as well.  It was quite humorous reading thousands of fellow forum members back then trying to get into the online store on an undisclosed webpage.  Thousands of people set aside time in their day just to click on that link in the hidden web page, refreshing over and over again to the point that it lagged severly.  Only the lucky got in.

I get pretty... frustrated when I see those. Sure, it was funny, but that was an incredible film and it feels like it's been debunked by these parody videos. Downfall is a masterpiece of german cinema.



I'm too big of a film nerd to find these funny :[

A lot of the stuff it says though is true. PC gamers are being kicked to the curb by IW it seems. If people like the changes, that is ok that is their opinion. What I mean though is I personally and many others do not like what IW is doing to the PC version. Hitler doesn't even like it! lol:happy:

Alright, double quote fails on the forums here, which is both a good and bad thing.

These Downfall/Hitler parodies have been very, very common for a very, very long time. Perhaps this is the first one you have seen, which explains why you enjoy it, but for a large group of people, this has gotten old (and if you understand German, it's probably annoying to infuriating). Just explaining the somewhat-hate you are receiving, which can't really qualify as hate when you compare it to almost any other board on the internet.

But, IW/MW2 is basically shafting the PC. At this point, to say that MW2 is an Xbox 360 game with PS3/PC ports at launch isn't a very big stretch. It has a 360 console with the largest official harddrive for the system, exclusive 'Prestige' edition for consoles, and the majority of the footage released of the game has been on Xbox 360. The biggest marketing push seems to be for the 360, and from a business perspective, that makes a lot of sense.

... I am lost. What kind of dubs were they? Is it because you understand German, or because you don't?

(I don't frequent DA related fora/sites before the game comes out.)

While these are old and not that funny anymore this video dfoes prove its point. IW just said "screw PC gamers) I am very pissed off, I have already canceled my pre-order for the PC and will buy the 360 version since the PC version is now the same......

I find it funny because of the stuff in it and it is basically true. Infinity Ward doesn't care about a lot of PC gamers it seems.

I didn't know about this till you posted it, I wasn't going to buy MW2 anyway. All I can say is a bad decision on IW's part as modding is my favourite aspect of gaming and it is for many others. I get the feeling sales are going to flop with MW2.

Because dedicated servers allow for large amounts of familiar human interaction. In TF2 I and my friend can go to a handful of servers and stalk specific people as a spy. In matchmaking systems, which are basically endless PUGs, I can't.
