I posted this on the Dragon Age forums not realizing the "off topic" stuff went here. So I am reposting where it makes sense.

I know this was all handed to us (and appreciate it greatly!) and the tokens are essentially free and have no real value....
I also know something like this is ridiculously hard to set up having done so myself... but....
Is there any way that for this contest period or perhaps in the future we could use tokens to somehow benefit Child's Play?
Something like BioWare sets a goal and if they receive enough tokens they will donate X amount to Child's Play? Any charity would be great but Child's Play is relevant to gaming and gamers are comfortable with the notion of helping them carry out their goals.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for such a question.

Its a good and honorable idea, but for this one event its too far along to implement, but a good idea for future events.
they could also do a donate and get tokens thing, but then someone would argue it was buying tokens.

I think I have seen or heard in an interview once that the Biodocs themselves donate to Child's Play and support this organisation. To me, this sounds like a great idea 
- then maybe people in the EU could do something with their tokens...

It also depends, you have to be an American to use the credits seeing this is now an American company if you are outside of the United States of America you cannot be involved in the Epic Community Event per Bioware/EA

Actually...if I could use my tokens in that manner, instead of having them sit in my account mocking my Canadian-ness...I'd forgive all. In fact, even if I were elegible for the auction, I'd send all my tokens to Child's Play.

You should go buy Canadian Made Obama Cookies that they sell, or you could transfer your wealth and spread it to your American Community Members who can actually play
