Aren't you Canadian? It's bad enough that you forsake 80% of your fans but now you don't even count Canada as community, where your company comes from?!

Where's the link to the Canadian community outcast group and pic.

I know I'm Canadian too :( woke up this morning all exited about the ticker ending, Only to find out that Canada doesn't count as part of the community... Even though Bioware is Canadian and was founded in Edmonton.

I think we Canadians at least deserve an explanation as to why we have been excluded.

We should kick them out, they don't get to benefit from our free healthcare anymore!

No Bioware is not a Canadian Company anymore, remember? They merged with Bono's Pandemic Studios then pandemic studios opened the lines to EA because they wanted to be bought out by EA. Then EA bought Pandemic studios in which they layed everyone at pandemic studios off because they just wanted Bioware so now Bioware is an American Company owned by Americans.

Its because of all the legal complications of running this sort of contest, it really isn't feasible to run this sort of thing in multiple countries. There's not much that can be done about it.

The part that is lame, is that Bioware should have let on that only US residents would be eligible before everyone who wasn't got excited about the countdown.

No it is an internet auction.....Global auctions are run all the time.  It is more likely to do with the cost of shipping the items globally and that to me stinks.

They need to change the flag from Canadian to The U.S Flag seeing this is an American Company now :)

Hey I would drive down to Point Roberts(Washington), like 1 /2 hour drive, if it meant getting a free poster or a shirt.

No its not.
Its a contest, in which you're giving away real world merchendise, for essentially free. And there are various laws in various jurisdictions that govern how you run these, what you can and cannot do, and so forth.

This is the reason that New York and Florida are excluded as well, or do you think you have to pay extra to ship to these states for some reason?
