I feel sorry for everyone that can't participate in this. The community is not just part of America it is everyone around the world that is part of this community and plays Biowares games. I don't know what Bioware was thinking when they did this whoever is their head of marketing should be fired, but what am I thinking that's EA so that won't happen.
They should have made the tokens usable for special content for ME2,DAO, and so on that everyone could have purchased with the tokens. That would have took out overseas shipping and duty costs and taxes to other countries and everyone I think would have been rather happy. It's not like they had to make some massive DLC stuff, They could have just made up some new armors and weapons for purchase.
In my opinion they should auction all these prizes on e-bay, and take the profits to pay programmers, and designs to make the special content that all the community could enjoy. But of course the sponsors of this event most likely wont let them do that because they want the exposure and publicity from this event. Unfortunately any publicity from this is going to be bad.
So seeing the Epic Community event is for Community Members only (Americans)

You know, that's a neat idea, darkshadow136. Perhaps Bioware could, as a gesture of good faith, allow people who weren't able to participate in the contest to convert their tokens to Bioware points or something similar. They could then be used to obtain DLC or other content.

Its not about not being able to participate in some meat head bazaar thats upsetting people, its about bioware not considering the rest of the world part of the "community"(including NY and Florida).

Thanks Zaxares, I would rather they do something like that. I would rather miss out on any of the nice prizes and have them make it into something that the whole community can enjoy. The whole community meaning the whole world that belongs to this community not just a portion.

Honestly... I was hoping for something like the immenient announcement for something like Jade Empire 2.Hey that could be an 'Epic Community Event' if the community was you know, told first, as opposed to a press event for gaming magazines.
As such, consider me to be throwing my arms up in the air and grumbling... I guess I should be glad DLC is available all the world right? At least that isn't only offered in the US of A (excepting Florida and New York)

Nah I understand what you're saying and understood it before. There's a hype and we got something, and you got to watch us be excited. I just don't like how people overreact, like Bioware set out to hurt them.
I think Jalem that the main reason so many people are pissed off is because of how the event was worded when it came out for example the first line from the Bioware Bazaar event page "To show our appreciation of fan support over the last 15 years, we have
created the BioWare Bazaar!" this event is meant to be a way of Bioware showing appreciation for it's fanbase on it's 15th birthday but the only people who can even enter this event are those living in the US (except Florida and New York) so in a way I think people not from the US see it as bioware not caring about fans elsewhere. Anyway that's what I think but I'm biased as I'm from the UK and I'm one of those idiots who deluded myself into thinking this was an announcement for Jade Empire 2 or something else as epic but was sorely disappointed

Please use the BioWare Bazaar announcement thread to discuss the BioWare Bazaar. Thank you.
