I hear that, I haven't done much of anything but just watch the biddings today. I have, like I said, attempted a few bids here and there, but alas, nothing. I sincerely hope that it comes down just a bit, but I really don't think they are going to. But if they do, best of luck to you and getting something you are looking for! And thank you for the click by the way, every little bit does help, but I don't think I stand much of a shot unless something changes, which I doubt will happen. Amen to that, brother. I figure click equitably; everyone who comes along (except my posts, of course; that would be cheating) gets a click. It's not like I've got anything better to do. I consider myself fortunate to be in the 6k range now; I started the day in the 4k's and mightily depressed. Of course, if I get a coffee mug I'll be happy, but I'd be ecstatic to get a T-shirt. At the rates they're going for, though, I could save my tokens and try for one of those nifty Alienware laptops, though (who couldn't use a brand-new, built-for-gaming computer you can take anywhere, right?), so if I manage to get a darned thing I'll be simply over the moon with joy.

Plug-ins such as the multi-click add-on from Firefox are apparently considered third-party aids for purposes of this contest, thus illegal. If you use it, bad things could happen... like folks using them missing out on the auction and us missing out on tokens.

I should make an entire thread dedicated to that topic, but as I don't know the entire list of banned stuff, I'll just not. I do, however, know that the Firefox multi-click plugin is specifically verboten as a third-party aid and could lead to consequences according to the rules of the contest. The others from other browsers I believe are the same boat; not certain, as I only use Firefox and have noted in the past what has been considered 'third-party aids' in contests I've entered, but only with regards to Firefox.

Friendly advisory from a friendly fellow who doesn't want his fellow beings to be penalized for not knowing. Now you know.

I'll keep bumping this up pages as needed, because I think it has bearing for the thread and should be something everyone is made aware of. I think we're all in the same boat here; if one of us loses out due to this, we all do, right? Not quite. 10 clicks away, but even then, you can still get clicks. It just goes by 1 instead of 10 after you get 500 tokens in a day, so rack up those tokens, ladies and gents!

10 clicks to my "daily max", so every little helps!
