Nathaniel and Sigrun are my favorites, however. I might find Anders more appealing if I'd made him an arcane warrior so he doesn't have to wear the ridiculous mage robes.
I don't know, I think Anders can totally rock the Keeper Robes and the Architect's Robes. Also, the Thane helmet.

No. I don't. I find this to be very selfless. He's willing to allow himself to be hunted and possible killed by the templars to secure his freedom, but he does not want to impose the rigors of his choice on others. He understands that change must happen over time. He simply does not wish to wait for this change to secure his own freedom. He is sensible, but impatient.

Doesn't it seem like DA:A has continued the tradition of giving female players a lawt to drool over, while the male PCs sort of get dissed? I felt like male players got the short end in the Origins romances, too. Morrigan disappears, in order to be consort you have to be Anora's doormat. Not that I'm complaining...rak72 wrote...

Male players(well im not gay or bi so this only goes so far) got the short end of the stick with a crazy lady, a sociopath and a bi-assassin. I didn't feel they got so much of a short stick in Awakening. I liked Velanna and Sigrun (except the height). I need to pick my words better when refering to males and females in a game and using the word "stick"

Very true about the Guy's romances - you get the choice of the complete and utter ****, or the crazy preachy chick with the annoying voice. I'm trying to finish up my guy Cousland, but I'm just going to keep him single. The funny part is that they both think they're his woman, and the conversations fierce. Can't wait to tell Mo to get another blanket when she tells him its cold in her tent. I'd like to see Mo and CrazyMage fight over him.

hey not every male PC got dissed I very much enjoyed the man candy the game had
granted marrying Anora sucks(except Loghains Heir conversation in awakenings) but oh wells its not like you can become Queen by yourself either and not every one is lovey dovey over Alistair

Saddly, I think my male Cousland would still be rockin the single life in Awakenings. Again its the choice between the sociopath or the goofy chick. I read a post somewhere that said the best match for his male Cousland would be his female Cousland - I think thats true with me too (as creepy as that sounds)

atleast we get to make our feeling known to her in awakenings unlike the alistair political marrige where you two are pretty much shagging even if you was never in a romance in Alistair and never romanced him at all
(oh and LOL Loghain cameo if you marry her)
oh and gogo hot antivan assassins shame he ran off to antiva to deal with those pesky crows trying to murder him again in awakenings but oh wells the opening still easily led into me reuiniting with him

That could probably work and if she won't even try to have an heir to prevent another succession issue after you both die (unless Fergus has some spare children) it could even be called good for Ferelden. Just put up with her long enough that it won't look like you just married her to get the throne and rule by yourself, make it look natural or like an accident, and then if Alistair's dead or exiled who ELSE would they have ruling them? Although you'd better hope Loghain's still in Orlais or the throne might have to Fergus 30 years early...Anora's Doormat? You realise you are a gw who saved the world and will smash her head with a maul if she so much as breathes an order at you?

Love him. And love Sir Pounce-a-lot. If you don't love the cute widdle kittie you have no heart.
Maybe it's because I never really engaged with him but I didn't like him. I still did his quest and protected him from the templars but I'm a hopeless cirle mage, and when he said he hates the first enchanter I took an instant dislike to him.

And yes, sometimes he can get a little annoying, but at the end of the day, he's WAY better than Velanna (next time I play Awakening, she is NOT joining the wardens.)

Selfless would be him putting others desires before his own. In this case it would be him having kept his little butt within the tower, working for the slow change in the system to allow mages as a whole to gain their freedom. All his escape attempts provides cannon fodder to increase and tighten their watch on mages. It is no diffrent then Wynn doing her best to live her entire life away from the circle, but speaking of the need to keep everyone else who isn't her close to the circle.
That said I like my selfish friend. He was funny and smart!
