Proof?  Ah you have none... ok.

It's called "reverse discrimation".

what, exactly, is wrong with James Cameron?

This is the sort of James Cameron sympathizer talk that doesn't allow us to move forward as a country.

How do you discriminate in reverse? Wouldn't that be crimination?

"“First of all, the man is not my father and we’re not on a plantation either,”

That is a racist statement to make. (referring to black peoples treatment in earlier times implying Clint , a superior director, has a supremacy attitude due to his race) not just due to the reply but to his movie "purposefully removing black people from history".

More evidence, including his own race of people being offended by his horrible attitudes.

One person in this thread said the word "rasist"

Directly after the creation of the thread, along with another user implied I was racist (hating black people), making his point relivant and yours, not so much. It would be best in the future of you defended me as oppossed to Spike Lee, as I am not a racist and watch Fresh Prince re-runs every morning.

What a lame argument. "I watch fresh prince" let me guess you also have a black friend, yes?

I'm not a huge Spike Lee fan, either. But, I do like Love & Basketball and He Got Game

Spike Lee is an awesome director. Malcolm X was one of the most critically acclaimed movies of the 90's for good reason and the fact that he pisses off white trash morons makes him even better.

I forgot about Malcolm X.  That was an amazing movie.  Denzel Washington was awesome

Sure, if you like.
I also find Beyonce attractive, think Captian Sisko was the best  captian and donated money to Africa, even though I hate black people, right, Kanye?

Also, I own a music CD  by a black person.
Two, in fact.

So was Pulp Fiction, much like Quentin Tarantino his movies have redundantly played the same cord over and over again well past there sell by date. Jackie Brown was a good movie and proof he doesn't need to stick to juvenile tripe, sadly, that what sells. It's very much the same with Spike Lee, whatever talent is there (very little) is wasted on everyone-against-the-black-man pretentious tripe.

The whole "everyone VS the black man" is an appealing subject to many black people. Right wingers like to deny that racism exists but many blacks, including myself have to deal with racism from white trash every day.

It's so bad, that you can't even wear a suit to a restaurant without everyone thinking you're a waiter. White people love to relish on the false idea as if reverse discrimination is a huge problem in America, it really isn't. Most cases of "reverse discrimination" involve white people whining about how unfair it is that it's socially unacceptable for white people to use the N-word even though it's "ok" for black people to do it even though almost no educated black people use that word.

Everyone has their interests, and their niche.  Whether you like it, or not, Quentin Tarantino's preferred style is Exploitation, and he likes to make over-the-top violence and sex, Grindhouse-ish films because that's what he grew up watching.  Spike Lee prefers to make movies about black impowerment because (shockingly enough) that's what he grew up experiencing.

Every director has a niche in the market, either to the enjoyment of millions, or chagrin.

Well, I'm not completely black but I am of black heritage, specifically Kenyan which helps explain why I'm an expert runner. I ran a 10 K in just over 43 minutes.

I'm kind of like one of those Mariah Carey type black people who is black with whitish skin. If you look closely though you can see some black ancestry in my blood.
