I got the confirmation of purchase email, yet under my EA account recent orders, nothing shows up. Anyone else getting this?

Cool stuff, free shipping even to Hawaii. That's rare.

@Harcken, how do you even see your EA recent orders? I can't figure out how to access my EA account at all, lol.

I wasn't going to buy it because expansions should not be 40 bucks... but 20? Now we're talking.

Question: When you have the choice between English US and English UK/Can, what's the difference? Just the spelling differences, or are there certain censorships found in one and not the other?

No in-game diffrence, of the top of my head, I'd guess. EULA is diffrent, they would have a PEGI warning instead of ESRB, and the canadian one might have French audio as an option.

Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately - it doesn't work for norwegians. The link sends me right to the norwegian EA site (same address - Norwegian language) - and the code don't do jack.

*sigh* lol I guess it was too much to ask for.

Same, they did bill me for it so I'm expecting them to honor the price.

Up untill this one 29.99 was the standard for bioware x-pacs.Mind you this was the first one in about 7 years for them.Hordes of underdark being the last.Sales will always come and go.If you bought it day one at full price, you the consumer made the decision.

The new trend seems to be a $10 increase (to $59.99) across the board for PC games.  It started with COD:MW2 and Assassin's Creed II, and I expect it to continue.  Guess they figure they can screw the PC gamers over like the do the console users.

Are you sure you tried this correctly? You got the game, and when you pay for it, you input the code on the lower part of the screen to get the discount.
The EA store sites are all the same, the language part is just a overlay. (well, all the European EA stores are the same atleast)

Thanks for the info. This is the price I was ready to pay. No free shipping of the physical copy to Canada, so I downloaded the digital one and will make a backup, in case I need to reinstall it beyond EA's one-year availability.

Yep, this was me too. I can't see paying $40 for a 15 hour expansion pack when I paid $40 for the original game that was well over 80 hours for me.......that's just not equitable.

The patient wait until the game releases in its "Game of the Year" (GotY) edition, getting the game, some if not all presently available DLC, and all expansions, for a similar price to the base game upon its release.

The truly patient wait until the GotY hits the bargain bin or (on consoles) the "Greatest Hits" line, thus acquiring the game, some if not all DLC, and all expansions, for $19.99 or less.

We impatient sorts pay the price.

Have to say, wouldn't get it from the EA store even if it was free. Some God awful experiences with that place.

Normally I would agree, but once the files are downloaded you can burn them to DVD and not have to worry about the EA Store again.  I didn't see any validation connection via the EA download manager when I tried to install.

I assume this should work but it isn't for me. I downloaded using the EADM and backed up the files in another folder. I then tried installing from those files and it installed an empty Dragon Age folder. Also, during the install it says that the required space for the install is 0 kb. I'm concerned since the EA store only guarantees the ability to redownload for a year. It doesn't seem like I can install without EADM.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I bought a download key from a third party vendor off of ebay. Does that matter? I've had no problem using tjhe EADM however.

Hey, thanks to the OP.

I refused to pay 39.99 on principle (PC pricing).

But I jumped on 19.99 with free shipping.
