Is there a way to remove or delete the new patch for Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening for PS3?
I had some minor issues before installing the patch with this game. Nothing I could not live with.
After installing the patch, I have more issues than before.
how do I remove or delete the new patch? Causing more problems than before

you can delete the game data. however, once you re-insert the game, it will prompt you to install the latest update. you may be able to skip that part, but i am not sure if it will kick you to the XMB or allow you to continue.
reinstalling the game data and the update may actually fix whatever issues you're having.

well looks like the only way to not download the patch is to not sign in to the playstation network.
In order to play Awakenings you have to install the patch.
I deleted the game data and reinstalled. DL'd the patch automatically.
I think that did the trick. Not having any issues so far.
Thanks for tip ziggurcat.

no problem. it's never a bad idea to delete and reinstall the game data if you are having issues with any of your games.

Except when you have DLC that is interlinked to your saves and buggy. Deleting the game data will also delete the dlc, which you have to re-download and re-install and still will have no warranty that you haven't corrupted your saves
