Ok, yeah, that makes sense.  I just look at how selfless Tali is portrayed...

You know, about that. I was a little disgusted with her when one time I did her loyalty mission too early and couldn't get her exonerated. Afterwards she said she didn't even care if her people got themselves wiped out in a war against the geth. I was disappointed in her.

She said that? Ah, man.  Well still, you know she didn't mean it.  Heat of the moment.

I support peace. I like both, but I admit that the quarrians made some mistake. But the geth overreacted on making them go out of all their worlds.

In case of war, I think geth would win.

I love the quarrian/geth relationship.

It's a bizarre hybrid of Asimov and human/cylon story of Battlestar Galactica.

Off topic, but you guys should really go look at the Omni-tools are becoming real thread, it's freaking awesome. It isn't some lame copout. It's done by Microsoft along with Carnagie Mellon.

Peace for both. They are both to blame. The Geth for not giving an ultimatum.. like give us half of your territory or we will continue the war which you are loosing.

The quarians, needless to say, for creating life.

The first mistake was made by the quarians anyways.

Basically. there would be no winner or looser.

We know the quarian fleet is the biggest naval fleet known to the galaxy, but we also know they are just hand me downs, their true strength lies in their innovations and numbers, not on the quality of their military hardware, so if any hostilities brake out, both factions will end up with no fleets:

Quarians will loose their fleet just taking a couple of worlds.

Geth will loose their fleet defending and trying to take back those few worlds

Is like those well known RPG factions. One has numbers instead of quality, other has quality over numbers.

Both will end up fudged up

I support peace and a blurring of the line between Quarians and the Geth until they are nearly indistinguishable from each other and are seen as one race by the rest of the universe.

Yep, she said it. Meaning there's a Geth/Quarian choice in ME3 that doesn't necessarily involve Tali. Or at least she's going to be really snarky about it.

The migrant fleet is the largest fleet in citadel space if I remember correctly.

According to Legion, if you blew up the heratics, theres only around 1500 True Geth still around + isolated cells. Pretty sure I've killed more than that just as Shepard....

I've got a game saved with them reprogrammed, and one with them blown up. We shall see.

He never gives a number, and the quarians numbers are meaningless.  Their ships are POSs that would get torn to shreds if they tried to engage in a naval battle. They would be perfect as an evacuation fleet, though.

He does give a number, if you have dialogs he says "There are currently 1--- units connected to the network." He says it again when you go to reprogram the geth if you talk to him enough, he states that something like, "571 for destruction, 573 for rewriting." I just played through that part today... again....

The millions of geth your thinking of were the heratics, which were either blown up or rewritten.

Those are the units contained within the Legion platform alone. There are many millions more geth out there beyond the veil.

There are BILLIONS of runtimes, which translates into millions of platforms.

I don't think the Quarians can beat the geth... anecdotal but they couldn't even save Veetor against defense mechs, with all their hacking. The geth have heavy walkers and don't sleep.

And an entire planet of geth... I like ME1 and ME2 but each "planet" was basically .001% of the planet, clearing out the geth was like taking back a small county.

Thankfully the quarians do not need to fight a ground war in order to defeat the geth. If they can win in space then they've won the war.

If the Quarians regain control of the Geth and reprogram them into docile, unquestioning servants (with a considerable margin of safety to keep them from going sentient again), I wonder if these Geth will make decent soldiers.
And I also wonder if their Quarian masters will not just throw them away in pointless battles because "they're only Geth!".

Um, those are the runtimes housed in the mobile platform known as Legion.  He doesn't connect to the network until the quarian recording convo, in which case he has to route through the normandy's FTL comm systems.  Remember when EDI says: "What I contacted was beyond my comprehension.  A mind the size of a Galactic Arm." She isn't talking about legion's 1183 runtimes, she's talking about All geth.

Not talking about the programs she erroneously attributed to.

Talking about ALL Geth.

A synthetic army is still expensive. Not the kind of thing you just throw away.
