Because Sarens, lies, even to himself. And the Geth on Hope appear to be tight beam communicating, if they never bother to tell Saren what it is, he thinks its worship. Deference does not equal worship, unless you see in absolutes... like Saren.
Again, Saren knows more about the heretics than anyone. Why are you so confident that he is wrong?

1) You must be our obedient slaves
2) You must not question our authority to do as we will with you
3) we reserve the right to kill you if you displease us or get us into trouble.
And that is why i have no sympathy for the Quarians; they blame everyone else for their banishment and their predicament. They trash worlds, have no respect for current council rulings, and refuse to acknowledge their sins...
I foresee Admiral Xen starting an interstellar war between the Quarians and the Geth, and you'll be tasked to either resolve it peacefully, kill Xen and her supporters,or back one side over the other.
Most of it is true. But I dont give a damn if they trash world, most of them are empty piecs of void land so who cares.
If the system is under "development" then is open for anyone to come across it. Alliance did the same with the batarians, nothing bad there.
Council rullings?? hahahahaha, that is like scolding somebody for not respecting the UN....seriously Council is the same thing.
Both parties are to blame, but true, unlike the Geth, quarians still think "is their homeworld".... so we are in agreement for the mos tpart.
Their "homeworld" was theirs until the moment they lost it.
They have the right to try to retake it....just as any man has the right to throw himself out of a building, whether he flies or not, that is on his neck nobody elses.
Agreed for the most part, but if you remember, there is a planet in ME2 that was being looked at the council, in regards to giving it to a species. The Quarians and the Batarians (if i remember correctly) both wanted the planet. The council was deliberating on it when hundreds of thousands of Quarians decided "nuts to the council" and squated on the planet, building a colony. Obviously, the council was pissed, and brought out the big guns. They promptly told the Quarians "30 days to GTFO or else". Unlike the UN, the Council has the ability and authority to ruin someone's sh*t.
Rather than calmly evacuating, the Quarians trashed the place, leaving a crapload of debris on the planet and in low orbit while they "fled". This can be akin to a "temper tantrum". Had they actually waited, i'm certain the council would have given them the planet, seeing how they have no planet to begin with. But they're a bunch of impusive idiots IMO.
I would say i don't agree with the council's decision to remove their embassy after the Morning War, but then again, they tried to kill sentient beings without cause. So if your all keeping score, the Quarians have lost one homeworld and ruined their chances at getting another. Galaxy: 2. Quarians: 0
If it's the planet I think you're talking about. Quarians found it not long after the morning war and were looking to colonize it, they had started doing so and petitioned the council for a claim to the planet. The council still acting a bit mean spirited after the creation of the Geth, and seeing the colonization attempt as presumptuous granted the world to the Elcor instead as it had high gravity. No Batarians involved.
Much of the equipment and stuff left behind were ships that had been canibalized to start the colony. They could not be made spaceworthy again, and with limited space on the flotilla they were forced to leave other things behind that may have been bartered for or purchased to support a colony.
Imagine it's the old west, the Cherokee indians had been displaced and when they migrate to a new area, in comes the Union army and kicks them out again. Any skins they had started on would have to be left to rot taking as much of the smoked meat as possible, untended gardens, tent frames, fire-pits. I believe the trail of tears was very much like that situation. A forced migration to the reservations.
