So, for the awesome auction that is set to run on the 6th, how many points will we need to be able to participate?
Is there a 1 point equals 1 dollar type of thing going on, or some other scale I should consider?
I'm just wondering because I want to try and have enough points to actually win something.

Points are measured in the scale of thousands (you have 1000 just for being a Bioware registered member). So expect the really awesome stuff to get up to tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of points (if people can accumulate enough before the auction starts by referrals and Twitter).

I guess if they are giving away up to 500 points per question on twitter, and there are what...like 10 questions per day? And how many days is this going for, like 8 I think?
So let's pretend someone can actually win each question (pretty much impossible I'd guess), that would be 8 x 10 x 500 = 40,000. Plus you can get somewhere around 6,500 just for registering products and signing up. So maybe a total of 46,500 at the very most?
So if 46,500 is the most points you can get, that helps to figure out how nay points you might need to win something.
Please correct me if my calculations are off. I was doing that off the top of my head. Also, if I forgot anything.

There were 4 yesterday, or so I thought. Assuming there are four each day, you have 2000x8 (days), 16,000. Adding the 6500 you get for registering and 500 per day from the URL, you're looking at about 26,500 points total.

Also, it seems you can continue to get an extra 1 token after the 500 cap. Not sure that adds up to be all that much, but it might for some people. I saw one person claiming to already have over 8,000 tokens without having won a single twitter comp.

I currently have nearly 7,000, with the help of the URL, no challenges won. It's only one point per after the 500, and the auctions are in intervals of 10. I'm not too sure how much it'd help, but you'd need a hell of a lot of people (500? 1000?) just to get a little more.
