EA “Help” on changing my email address here is incompetent
I’m talking to a brain dead brick over there.

I’ve tried a search but couldn’t find anything so I hope this is the right category to send this to.

I need to change or update my email address on the BioWare Social Network. The email account I have there is one I cant even access anymore. I would like to have it changed to my current one, the one I have here.

My log in name there is: * name *
The old email I want changed there is: * my email address *

- EA login name: * my name there *
- Gamertag: * given *
- Email associated with my EA Account: *my email *
- Email associated with my Gamertag: * my email *
- Birth Date on the Gamertag: *given *

In their FAQ it states:
“How can I update my email address?
You cannot update your email address on this site - you would need to go to profile.ea.com to manage the email address associated with your EA account. Note that this would change it for all EA games and sites! “

I need to change the * email address * address to the * email address * one.

Now is it just me or didn’t I make it clear as to where I wanted my email address changed? This place is managed/run by EA is it not?

I’m sick of this crap. Now I’ll get to spend more time dicking around with them hoping I can get a live support tech to fix this bs. If we could just change the e-mail address here this wouldn’t be a problem by anyone.

It’s the only online site I’ve ever been to that doesn’t allow you to do that.

Of course EA's help is incompetent.  EA as a whole tends to be incompetent.  Just refer to the recent Battlefield Bad Company 2 server problems, which kept the game pretty much unplayable for almost two weeks after its much-hyped and "PC optimised" release... oh, and don't forget the extremely obvious and glaring UI and control bugs on top of that.

I suggest avoiding the purchase of all BioWare and EA products in the future.

You have obviously read the instructions. Do you not understand the process?
