How do I get the FireWalker to collect data?  When I hover over the yellow circles, nothing happens.

Make sure you have reset your key binding after you install patch 1.01.

The common is your right mouse button. hold it over and inside the yellow circle.

I recommend rebinding the keys to however you like. The current controls are a bit difficult.

For some reason I had my collect data key bound to X (?) but the on screen prompt said Right Mouse.



I also completed 1/3 of the first mission without using jump cause the on screen prompt kept giving me the wrong key binding. It felt like the old days climbing steep walls with the Mako hahha.

I have the same problem and tried with nearly every key. But this f**k**g data doesn't want to be collected, so I even can't finish the first mission.

Is there a way to bind the 'Collect Data' command? I don't see one.
Also unable to do the mission, because game not referencing keybinds correctly, can't bind some keys to some commands, can't unbind some commands from keys.

Resetting the keybinds worked.
The command may be bindable; I think it's the 'Mine' command in the list, not collect data.

it's indeed bound to V ('Mine') but you have to hold it in order to collect the data

Yes it's the "V" key here too, as i found out.
I forgot what the game said it was but that was false,  also the jump key was different,  "E" in my case.
