(This is mentioned in the first post of the "Official" link sharing thread, but I figured I'd make a thread about it before I went to sleep)

I've been very impressed with how much altruism people have been showing today - clicking other people's links instead of just posting their own and running.

So, if you're one of the kind souls doing that, here's how to make it easier on yourself:

Step 1: Get Firefox if you aren't already using it. (It's Free!)
Step 2: Install Multi Links (an addon for Firefox).
Step 3: Open up one of the link sharing threads (preferably the official one, to keep things in one place).
Step 4 (optional): Zoom out by holding down control and moving your mouse wheel towards you.
Step 5: Hold down your right mouse button and drag a square over all the links!

Using this method you can cut down your number of clicks by 40 times (or more if you zoom out and have a good computer!) This certainly makes some of the longer sharing threads seem less daunting!

And, once again, thank you to the 100+ people that have clicked my link today (odds are you got one from me too)

This.

Also, I've noticed that a lot of people have been hijacking people's threads and essentially Rickrolling people into clicking on their link. While (sometimes) entertaining, for serious topics, this method of hijacking is downright disrespectful. Do not do it.

If I were more deceitful myself, I suppose I could have said something like Get Firefox! :P

Yeah, only about 10 out of 27 people fell for this thread http://social.biowar...3/index/1974177 which I made just for kicks and to see how many people would fall for it, since I'm not playing anyway because I live in NY.

I think it's fun enough to do here in Off-Topic where people expect it. But if you start throwing it around on other forums expect to get suspended/banned. And if you start throwing it around in non Off-Topic sections here, I think there's a chance Bioware might call foul on you : /

It's slightly tedious to set up. But once you DO have it set up - you can click everyone in a sharing thread in under 30 seconds. As opposed to the 10 or 15 minutes it'd probably take you to manually click 500 names, hehe.
