Lol. True it does seem CNN is relying on that a bit too much nowadays. I guess they are trying to be the 'people's' news station.Onyx Jaguar wrote...
I'd like it if CNN actually reported the news and didn't rely on their audiences phoning in messages. All cable news outlets suck something fierce.

Ah sort of like what they did with the hot coffee debacle for grand theft auto. Wasn't that basically in game but disabled at the last moment and it took modding the game or getting a file or something to unlock it? The Dragon Age naked mods are not too far of a stretch from 'hot coffee' for Fox News I think. Then again they probably do know better and don't want to wreck all their credibility.Jarcander wrote...
If they really wanted something news worthy, they'd download some mods from Dragon Age Nexus. Then again, it wouldn't be BW's fault that players love to mod their game, so it is not worth their time. Still, it would be amusing if someone mistook that stuff for being in-game from the launch... hehe.

Pretty much. I'm sure they would do it if someone had taken their videogame bashing seriously before they lost all creditability.

Well, Jack Thompson was pretty much the one leading the crusade against video games. When he got disbarred, it pretty much killed any serious attempts on lawsuits and stuff against video games and their companies.Jarcander wrote...

Though from what I last read about him, he was trying to act like he was never disbarred.

In this day and age of accurate unbiased reporting and unfailing logical justice system, I'd expect Fox to report DA:O to show explicit sex and nudity, causing a huge spike in DA:O sales and a tidal wave of lawsuits against EA from buyers once they realized the characters are never nude (in the unmodified game)...

Ironically, the same company that owns FOX, also owns IGN.
And they used Hilary Goldstein's Shepard in that piece without IGN's permission. I remember those guys making fun of Fox News without mercy. I think Eric Brudvig still has a banner on his blog that makes fun of FOX news.

Fox News should not even be considered a news agency, they are nothing more than tabloid trash and are too stupid to be taken seriously!
I find them pretty informative actually and bill o reilly is a pretty cool guy, flips out and eh doesn't afraid of anything.

I support the concept of right wing media, just not the bullcrap that is fox.
You do realise that whenever one side has more than one option, their demographic gets split?
Sounds like you're the target audience for fox .. hook and sinker.
Take Monsanto for an example.
While I'm sick of the left wingers giving them crap over every little thing, Fox went to court in order to get the right to deliberately lie to their audience. And they won.
That isn't just stupid, that makes the right wing look bad.
Haha. Seems you are just as guilty of taking the bait for the other side.
Does Fox News lean right? Yep
Does CNN, MSNBC lean left? Yep
Isn't most news organizations opinionated in some form or fashion? Yep
newsflash! Human beings work for news agencies.
Going to stay out of these political threads from now on...it makes me furious that there are so many easily influenced individuals...on both sides!
