If they really wanted something news worthy, they'd download some mods from Dragon Age Nexus. Then again, it wouldn't be BW's fault that players love to mod their game, so it is not worth their time. Still, it would be amusing if someone mistook that stuff for being in-game from the launch... hehe.

Ah sort of like what they did with the hot coffee debacle for grand theft auto.  Wasn't that basically in game but disabled at the last moment and it took modding the game or getting a file or something to unlock it?  The Dragon Age naked mods are not too far of a stretch from 'hot coffee' for Fox News I think. Then again they probably do know better and don't want to wreck all their credibility.  Posted Image

Wasn't that 'hot coffee' scene essentially an interactive porn minigame though?  The DA:O scene, even if you modded them to remove the hilarity and allow nudity, still are more like watching nude cuddling than an outright porn game.

Haha.  Seems you are just as guilty of taking the bait for the other side.
Does Fox News lean right?  Yep
Does CNN, MSNBC lean left? Yep
Isn't most news organizations opinionated in some form or fashion?  Yep

newsflash!  Human beings work for news agencies.

Going to stay out of these political threads from now on...it makes me furious that there are so many easily influenced individuals...on both sides!

On a different note: I like pie.

This is why I love the Daily Show and Colbert Report.  They may both really be pushing the liberal agenda, but at least they make fun of *everyone*.

Not if your one of those weirdo's who gets the sex scene mod. ECk!. I like scenes the way they are even with the bras on. Fox reports needs to get their heads out of their backsides. At least we can point and laugh at them now. Posted ImagePosted Image

The left wing no longer has a monopoly on the news, get over it.

It's not about sides. It's about competence.
Yes, there needs to be more right wing viewpoints in the media.
But fox has no credibility.

Let me put it another way.
McCain would have been an awesome president. G. W. Bush was a tool.

And Obama was only elected because of his race.  If you voted against him, you were automatically labeled as a racist... not that anyone would know for sure, but that's the guilt trip that was played on everyone.  The '08 election was as big of a farce as the '00 election was.

I'm not talking Obama vs McCain .. that election was past McCain's time.

I'm talking about the party putting Bush up as a candidate instead of McCain.

They have no less credibility than any of the other large media organizations IMO.

Look, I'm technically conservative myself, though I'm more moderate than full right-wing.  Faux News just makes stuff up.  Look at the protests against the Health Care bill.  They showed footage from months prior that had the trees in a completely different season, just because the crowd was bigger, and it helped them portray what they wanted.

Faux News *hurts* the ring-wing agenda with its' blatant falsehoods far more than it helps.

The DA:O scenes caused outright laughter for me.  They were comedic.  Perhaps that had something to do with romancing Morrigan first and having her put *on* that bra just for sex in the first place.

Other networks deliberately engage in deception all the time to push their agendas.  If you can't honestly see that, then you need try to look it more objectively IMO.

I would say that Fox News does not hurt the right wing agenda.  One simple fact is that so many left wingers are so vocal in their opposition to them and they see them as a threat.  If they didn't see them as such a threat then they wouldn't be up in arms against them.

Faux News is a joke.  I'm sorry if you can't see that, but it's true.  No one takes a word they say seriously except maybe a few blissfully ignorant people.  This country is composed mostly of sheep.  They elect whoever is running from whatever party they associate themselves with.  This individual then goes and bases his politics on whatever 'campaign contributions' they can get from companies, and does whatever he can to get re-elected and allow him to continue enjoying his cushie job and his upper-class level salary.

Maybe I'm just bitter that I'm going to be fined for not being able to afford health insurance come 2014...

No I didn't mean it in that context.  Fox News looked bad over this debacle shortly after they did it in 08.  It's good that you are posting though.  People think that there is not enough nudity in ME2 because of this, but Bioware has stated to the contrary and DA would show evidence of this if it that were the case.

Because PR people *never* make things up to cover their own asses, right?

DA has no nudity, and it's sex scenes are things of comic hilarity.  It's self-censorship, and they're just trying to deny it.

Bioware has stated otherwise and DA also had s/s content which ME2 does not have.  It may be self censorship, but you don't know that for fact.  Saying they are just trying to deny it doesn't mean that they are.

The only reason ME1 was targeted was because the sex scene was briefly shown in the game's trailer.  It hinted at nudity, which set off prude alarms.  It was later found out that the girl/girl scene was a possibility, which set Faux News off more.  Regardless of what BioWare wants you to believe, their games after that report took a huge step backwards in terms of sexual content.  Clothed dry-humping and scenes of implied sex are a huge step back from the tasteful, romantic scenes shown in ME2.

Regardless of BioWare's stated reasoning, this happened after the Faux News report, and comes off as self-censorship in response to the report.  They can say that it was 'artistic choice', but it still appears otherwise.

Yes it does appear as self censorship regardless of their statements to the contrary.  That is different from your previous comment though, which stated: " It's self-censorship, and they're just trying to deny it" as if it is non disputable.

Well your certainly not an eternal optimist, that is for sure.  ^_^
The health care bill fight isn't over.  There is plenty of time to drag it through the courts.

The thing is... they are disputing it.  Trying to justify what they did.  No matter how loudly they proclaim to the contrary, it will always come off as self-censorship to kowtow to Faux News to avoid another controversy.

Amusing story that most people won't care about...  My senior year of High School(nearly a decade ago), one of my classes we took a little personality quiz to see how negative we were.  Scores ranged from 0 to 100, with 100 being pure optimist, 0 being horribly pessimistic... most of the class scored between 80 and 95 or so... I had a 43.  I'm quit a negative person. :x

Fox "News" is strictly entertainment. I hate politics. So, during elections, I watch Fox News to get a good laugh before I start doing serious research on the candidates. I can never take anything that network puts out as serious or realistic.

Just as an FYI, I don't always vote party lines and try very hard to make an intelligent choice. However, sometimes all you have to choose between is spam and processed cheese food. :(

Negativity quiz or something like that.  Don't remember.  And if I've changed over this past decade, I've gotten *more* cynical and jaded. lol
