In one of my playthoughs in DAA, I found Wynne soliciting in front of the Chantry in Amaranthine.....

....which was very interesting since I left her shattered body on the Circle Tower Floor and with good riddance when she tried to get me killed as a Bloodmage.

Of course she wasn't happy to see me, but how in the world is she even there AT ALL?!?  She was quite dead (and I confirmed the flag) in the game I used to import.  QUITE dead (and no one mourned her either but that's another topic)

Well it's not like it'd be the first time she died.

Meh - I killed her as well, but what's to say that she didn't get handily resurrected...? I still got a quest off her so I am not bothered.

I don't think I bothered reading that much into it, besides I'm the Orlesian Warden not the original character.

I had Loghain show up even though he died giving the final blow to the Archdemon. Awakening is just special like that.

Alternatively, a wizard did it.

Hmm I killed Jowan on my way out of the castle, told Bann Teagan that's what I was going to do. Later when Eamon woke up, they went off the fetch Jowan.....zombie Jowan. Why and how when we'd had a heart to heart then I plunged a knife into his heart?

I seriously can't believe Bioware couldn't be bothered to carry over even simple continuity like that. So you miss out on one quest from Wynne, why not have the choice carry over? Wow, they pretty much just forced one canon version of Awakenings down our throats, the only choice that seemed to get recognized was who you left as King. I just shake my head at how they could do their own franchise so wrong. When your trying to establish a new IP for many future games, why make the very first expansion so sub par in terms of continuity? Why should I even bother playing through other imports where I made more radical choices if they just get rewritten and ignored?

Well, I killed her at the top of the Circle Tower, and I never met her in Awakening. Killed Loghain, never met him either.

Does she do that?  She's never had a problem with me as a blood mage o_O

(yeah, lack of continuity in DAA surprises me not)

The choice DO carry over, however as with Origins there are some bugs with the codex and all, which may result in quirks like this.

Maybe Wynne doesn't have a Spirit of Faith. Maybe she has a Spirit of Cat.
