[e]That said, both Ash and Kad die honorably, and it's more of a choice of who to kill rather than who to save. Out of sheer practicallity, since there are few powerful human biotics, I always save Kad.

Hmmm.  I always save Ashley - or to be more precise, I always "do not save" Kaiden:

1) Kaiden's a tech.  He goes with the bomb.
2) Ashleys's a soldier.  She goes with the Salarians.
3) The bomb's going off whether Kaiden lives or not.
4) I'm not "saving Ashley".  I'm saving the STG!!!  She's just in the right place at the right time.  (I mean, GEEZ!!! does NO ONE except Kirahe recognize the diplomatic goodwill involved in saving allied commandos?  No one?  Ashley may think it's all about her, but c'mon girl... self-centered much?)

Anyway, OT "love and respect".  I hads the respect in ME1.  Love, not so much.

Repect went down the tubes with her close-minded, self-righteous tantrum at Horizon.

I frequently visit her grave on Virmire.

They got lovely ice cream at the kiosk nearby.

No, just kidding, she's cool.

She's a great character. It's unfortunate that some people can't be bothered to understand her behaviour and her reasons, but that's nothing new of course.

Her disappointing role in ME 2 was simply due to very bad writing from BioWare, the same thing that all ME 1 LIs suffer from.

Agreed. I like her a lot in ME1, but her ****ing on Horizon was a big turn-off for me.

I used to. But, when she put the alliance before her friends......it was hilarious.

She hates politicians but she puts them before her friends.

Maybe is her grandad thing, she wants so bad to make up for it that is the only thing that really matters to her I uno. Either way, if she dies in some nuclear fire, I wont even waste the H3 to go to her funeral, any walmart, or space convenience store card will do to send her.

-------

Now aside from her personality, she is a great soldier, very talended and experienced. Needless to say.

I liked her as a character in ME1, but then in ME2. Well she pissed me off., so much that I replayed ME1 just to kill her and save Kaiden.

In ME1 she is like humanity should stand on its not bend for the other races and ****. Then in ME2 when offered the chance to join a group that stands EXACTLY for what she believes in.

Kaiden oh the other, well. He always came to me as someone who would never like a group like Cerberus and would rather shoot himself then join them. Hell, I respect him a great deal for standing firm in his beliefs.

Sigh. I still like her character though, especially the poetry and religious stuff.

I like her, planning on sticking with her on my renegade shep.

I think the people that dislike her just post a lot more about it than the ones that do...which if you think about it, is a little pathetic on their part lol

Fixed that for ya, buddy.

There fixed it,  because it was right the first time.   The only time "an" is used before a word that begins with H is when the H is unsounded.  A fitting example: An honest mistake.  My parents installed me with an OCD to correct the usage of "an" and I in no way intended to be rude.  Just happens that way lol.

On topic: Ash has my respect because her death fueled my Shepard's rage in the first half of ME2, till Miranda straightened him out.  Overall her character is a very sweet woman, but I find all her poetry cheesy and her demeanor desperate.  Which is a turn off IMO.

Hate her, but I know she loves me even if she wasn't my love interest.

So simply hopefully in me3, I get to turn my back on her, leaving her, in distraught and totally sad...hopefully crying.

Man that will feel good.

Oh God, seconded. I really hope I can do that in Me3.

She reminds me of an ex girlfriend >:(

the only thing better than letting her die, is ignoring her completely.

I am a very vengeful person. ANd the greatest vengeance is not the one that satisfies me, but the one that causes the most dmg.

One thing she has shown to love more than me, is the legacy of her grandad. She wants to keep it, to clean the stain......god would be good to make her screw up so bad, she ends up worse than her grandfather.

And then, giving us an option NOT as a renegade, because she turned her back on everything she stood for and say.
ASh:
"god shepherd.....they came....and and you warned me to come with you now....my sister, she was taken....(drops on shepherds arm's)

ME:
"...I know ash, I know... my god.......I cna only think of 4 words to describe this.

ASH:
"what words?"

ME:
"IN YO FACE!!!!!!!!....or better yet. TOLD YOU SO.hahahahahahahaha"

ME:
"anyway love to stay and chat, but I got your mess to fix up now"

ASH:
"shepherd please they took my sister"

ME:
"Ash please I need to take down the collectors.......any of those sound familiar? hehehehehehe. But is ok, in the end, I didn't need you to stop em. I am sure you dont need me to save your sister. Here is 5 credits, call yourself a cab"

One hell of a soldier, a former friend and a former comrade, lots of respect for her. I really wish she hadn't turned her back on me like that in ME2....I'm not the forgiving type.
