Well I'm no board. But I like her. She hasn't much for either the Council or the Turians, but I would guess that could have changed due to "exposure" to Wrex, Garrus and Tali. Liked her hiding behind poetry because she didn't have confidence in her own words coming out right.
Watching the Normandy die from a lifepod must have been bad. Hearing later that her Captain didn't make it in time must have been worse. Two years of looking at either a marker on a graveyard with an empty coffin underneath or at just another personnel file marked "MIA" can't have been fun. And after those two years all of a sudden there I am.
"I couldn't call you. I was dead. They've just brought me back a couple of days ago. Cerberus, the shady guys who kill marines and admirals to keep their secrets. Now tell me you missed me, give a hug and follow me to my lair ..." - no way.
I even like that "Big sorry, Skipper" mail.

I dont mind she, saying she could not come along. But that I was being brainwashed or something....that is where everything fell apart.
Liara could not come, she knew what I was doing had to be done, and nobody else could do it, she wasn't proud, but she said, she had something to do first.
Wrex, knew it had to be done, but said he had something to do first.
What did ash expected me to do.
"no no ash sorry, lets go back to the council, who are part to be responsable for me....sort of dying. For us being separated.
Or the alliance, the near complete political branch who turned their back on us, when soverign attack.....wait wait I thought you hated politicians....but you dont mind working for them."
ANd she has the right to judge me for taking w/e help I can get?? nice....very nice:whistle:

Didn't know that, very distasteful indeed. Must have been a morbid attempt at humor. Still, at least you all now know what to do with the word "an" in reference to the letter H, hehe.Cloaking_Thane wrote...

Fixed that for ya, buddy.
[e]That said, both Ash and Kad die honorably, and it's more of a choice of who to kill rather than who to save. Out of sheer practicallity, since there are few powerful human biotics, I always save Kad.
There fixed it, because it was right the first time. The only time "an" is used before a word that begins with H is when the H is unsounded. A fitting example: An honest mistake. My parents installed me with an OCD to correct the usage of "an" and I in no way intended to be rude. Just happens that way lol.
On topic: Ash has my respect because her death fueled my Shepard's rage in the first half of ME2, till Miranda straightened him out. Overall her character is a very sweet woman, but I find all her poetry cheesy and her demeanor desperate. Which is a turn off IMO.
"An Hero" is an internet meme, A very distasteful one. you can google it

Sure she does. And why not? - that big badass bounty hunter might just get ideas about shooting you, too, now that he has no use for you any longer ... cutting some loose ends for the Shadow Broker. After all the Quarian wanted to strike a deal with the Broker for some dirt on Saren that would go to you when you rescue her.

Of cause she is mad at ... whoever stands there. Might be Shepard throwing in with Cerberus voluntarily. Or Shepard, thoroughly indoctrinated by Cerberus. Or some body double with surgery. Whatever. What did you all expect, guys? "Skipper! You're back! Take me, right here and now!"
Real people aren't like that. So why should virtual people behave that way?

The golden fact remains, when a character is loved or hated, it is a good sign that that's a successful character. Ops! Now I sound like BioWare! LOL!

No I just expect her get over herself long enough to see there's a lot more at stake than experiments on a bunch of insects and a huge plant. Her blaming Cerberus and then turning her back on Shepard is completely unforgivable. I had a lot of respect for her in ME1 and I even defended her A LOT on the forums but that ends it. Now she has to pay.

Ya'll sound like she stole your kids and burned em alive. I have strongly disliked a few characters in video games(Alister is the most recent) but i don't think I could actually sit there and fill up forum's with how much a hate them. If I don't like a character I usually just don't talk about them or when asked to describe them I'll be like "yea so and so sucks". But planning on ways to make them suffer in the upcoming sequels is well....a little sad. I would honestly recommend some of u avoid video games if just one character is going to make u schizo
YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO USE HER!! lol

What's really ironic is that this hate comes primarily because Ash is percieved as "intolerant." So intolerance is paid in return. Funny, that.

Dude, my top 3 characters in ME1 were, Wrex, Ash and Tali.
Go into ME2 for the first time.
. tali wants nothing to do with cerberus with good reasons..., but nevertheless gives me the benefit of the doubt....ok
Wrex, as soon as TIm told me he was on Tuchanka, I knew he was a no no. 2 hits.
By now, welcome relief because I never went into the med bay until now, and I found a surprise....and quickly went for a bottle to celebrate reunion.
But the small surprise was quickly overlapped when I went to horizon and Ash blurts out all that stuff....I understand her position, but her!!! not giving me a benefit of the doubt...low blow...low blow. I was hurt....
I would not have mind her saying "I cant believe your with cerberus....you....how coudl you.
But still neither the alliance nor the council is doing absolutely anything to prepare. I wish you the best of luck, but I can't bring myself to trust cerberus, in that we cannot agree"
Then I would say "Sorry ash, but there is nobody else that is willing to help, I can't be pick when help is scarce, but I understand your point, and I assure you, I keep my eyes open"
And kool woudl be if garrus was there: Garrus says " we both got our eyes open just in case Chief"
Luckily after that everything went peachy, and Ash was past
Found Wrex, he said...pretty much what I want ASh to say, which was a relief. Met Tali....woooooot.
Tali was one of my fav. She told me. She still trusts me, but she got things to do, that she is sorry, and good luck to me. There that is a good friends.
Thank god later on she joined...even if her skills were less than desirable.

As opposed to for example Tali, whose affection borders on hero-worship, and Kaidan "I was a lonely jedi youngling" Alenko, her romance path is rather sweetly constructed.
