I like how she casually mentions that she believes in God and she's suddenly a zealot. Even if you ask her if she has an issue with you not believing, she doesn't. She's not a fanatic. about to kill Shepard for Allah. If anything, that's Samara yet everyone loves her and rips on Ash for the same .

I liked her less than Alenko. She wasn't a bad person per se, but she was a xenophobe when the only interesting characters besides joker are aliens. Had the aliens been portrayed as loathsome she might have been a more likable character. Unfortunately for her, Garrus, Tali, and Wrex are far cooler than a religious person who shoves her beliefs in my face and quotes poetry (Which I think is overrated) in an annoying way. I dislike her like I dislike my brother, who does the same Belief shoving thing Ashley does. Since Alenko is just boring, I always leave ashley on virmire as I don't romance her.



Also, now that I know that Kaiden is an ass on horizon, I'll feel less guilty about punching him in the face than ashley come ME3. I disagree with hitting women unless they attack me.

I don't agree with calling her a zealot, but it was more than just a casual mention.  She put shepard in the position of judging her for her beliefs.  He had to either agree with her or call her a zealot.  Either way she wins, because in the latter circumstance she says she is better than you because you are being insensitive.

People who force others to judge them are asses in my book.  She could have stayed silent about it.  Or said, Oh by the way I believe in God, but she didn't.  She added a "do you care" to it, and for that she sucks.

Why?  Aliens are so much more interesting.  If you want to romance human chicks ask someone out if you aren't already married.  Video games are for doing things you can't in real life.

The neutral option is irrelevant, she still forced you to choose one way or the other.

That's about as casual as religion gets dude. She brings it up after Shepard comments on her dead father being in heaven. She just asks if he's okay with it not if he follows her belief system. She's completely okay with him not believing. She's the very antithesis of a zealot.

Anyway, I like her. I know people think she's racist for her issues with aliens, but did you forget the part where she was, ya know, right? The council did leave you hanging your backside in the wind.
