I thought as long as we are all helping each other with the referral links, we might as well keep track of how many challenges everyone has won.

It will atleast give us all a chance to have a rough idea what our chances are to bid on an item we really want.  Because basically everything is gong to be equal, we all will have the tokens for either game registration or the questionaires, character creator, site membership and the referral clicks are going to be pretty close, so the challenges are the wildcard.

I guess I have failed miserably so far, I have no challenge wins.

I believe they said that auctions will be every 15 minutes. If there aren't too many prize packs I imagine the determining factor could simply be stamina and having lucky timing. Ah yes "rules" we have dismissed that claim :

Auctions will be held on or about every 15 minutes starting 9:00:01 AM PDT on Tuesday April 6, 2010 with the last auction closing at 4:00:00 PM PDT on Saturday April 10, 2010.

I know my butt is gonna be glued to my seat for four days LOL.

You may be right, but according to the rules they were supposed to go out after 8 hours of the end of each challenge, which is long passed now. There were also some people on here claiming they won and were notfied already. They could be lieing, but just saying.

You are free to come over to my house and examine my email, or cellphone. Skepticism is all well and good, necessary even but when multiple sources give you the exact same answer....

I hope your right, but I don't agree.  There are thousands of people replying to each challenge, so that tells you there are a good number of people dead set on getting every last token they can, and all the rest of the points are basically a freebie given if you just do the slightest amount of effort.

There are only 412 or whatever prizes, and if you get a few hundred of those thousands of challenge contestants that racked up some wins, you can't outbid them.  So the challenge wins are everything.

You can only win 2 auctions, so most people will probably say the hell with it, find one thing they want, wait for it, and bid like hell on it.  That's the best plan if you have the tokens.

What the hell are you saying?  Why, did you win one of the challenges?   I'm not questioning it, that's what I'm asking, I'm just saying some people could be lieing about it.  That's all.

I'm a math idiot but these are my calculations

79 hours x 4 auctions per hour =316 prize packs /2 max wins per player = 158 unique winners.

I'm not saying chances are great but it's a heck of a lot better than most lotteries. And unlike many this one can be influenced by effort and dedication. And if you aren't going for one of the big prizes your chances are even better I imagine.  If your someone like me who has no life chances get even better as some people have that blasted thing called work or kids.

I've entered all five challenges thus far... and the first four I entered within 4 minutes of the challenge being posted... still haven't heard ANYTHING. Guess I didn't win, and several of my twitters were witty. Sigh...

I've entered two so far, and no messages yet. Like ShepardOsiris said about people finding one good thing to bid like hell on, that's my plan. I like the look of the N7 sweatshirts, or a hat.

Just in case somebody wants to help me out http://social.bioware.com/brc/1688296

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you.  The speed doesn't matter at all though, I entered atleast 2 of them within the first 20 seconds so I wish it did.  It's all based on creativity, spelling and grammar, and something else.

Maybe they just can't follow their own rules, and the second poster is right, no notifications have gone out.  But it's been almost 24 hours now since the first challenge closed, you would think they could have gotten at the very least that one done.  I mean they are planning an 8 hour time table to have them done.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that I might still have won one then.

I won, I was notified. I don't know for which question/s except as I'm pretty sure it wasn't the last one of the day, too little time passed.

Well if they have gone out then, that's really sad and unfortunate, because it seems hardly any regular forum users who are community users and contributors have won any of them. Only a few exceptions like makenzieShepard and such.

Likely meaning that most of the winners are people who saw an article on IGN or Gamespot, jumped in and joined the forum, got all the registration tokens likely via questionaire, and are no doubt getting tokens from referrals.

So that puts all those folks in the catbird seat as it were to come in and steal all the gear and then leave the forums forever because they have no interest in the actual community.

Now that's a jump, I'll accept that, but not all that big of one. And if it's true, it means that this whole big huge EPIC COMMUNITY EVENT, was nothing but a big **** YOU, to the entire real Bioware Community, and not just the %90 of it that get screwed because they don't live in 48 of the 50 US states.

Well, atleast it would be fair to the entire community that way, and nobody gets anything. Gotta look on the bright spot with that I guess.

Nothing here either. It would appear Lady Luck hates quite a few of us.
