Ugh... if it's random I swear I'm going to end up hating my life. I vowed never to join twitter and now I've done to try and win bioware swag...

i'm a sellout too.

Me three.

And me - which is why I irrationally upset at this.

Stupid frakking Twitter.

Make it a quintfecta, I also sold my soul to twitter for this. In a way, all of us that are putting in so much work for what is starting to look like absolutely nothing have as much or more right to complain than the people Bioware screwed by not including in this contest.

Especially since all of this could have been solved and we could have all packed it up by now had the rules been written and followed as they should have been.

Have to say I agree... I would much rather have been excluded than put in the work to promptly answer each challenge and then get rolled over for "randomness" or some other fluke in judgment. <_<

I'd like to ask that even if any of you have not won a challenge, but you have a friend on the forum that you know has, please mention that. Because considering there should be at the very least 400 winners out there from yesterday and in all of the forums I know of a grand total of 2 or 3 that say they won here. That number seems awfully low.

At the very MOST 400 winners, you mean. It's 'no more than 100' per challenge, not 'at least 100'.

Wouldn't it be GRAND if they picked one winner for all of yesterday's challenges?

The possibility of this being an April Fool's joke is still there. The lack of details about these contests, the exclusion of all of their out of US + New York + Florida community members, and just the fact of it happening this week sort of supports this.

I worded it poorly, but what I was referring to, was the fact that some of todays winners could be decided and sent notification by now.  The judging timeline is so vague, it's possible the first challenge could have been judged, and MakenzieShepard said they got the notification before yesterdays challenges ended.

So I just meant yesterdays winners should easily be known by now, and maybe more.

In some ways I hope your right because it would mean Bioware didn't screw 90% of it's fanbase by leaving them out.  But I tell you what, if it would turn out to be a spoof, I will lead  grand army to Bioware headquarters and I will redefine the meaning of the word "RAGE".

And I don't think I'd be alone, no one would find that funny, and it would likely be the worst PR move in the history of videogame companies.  You think EA has set the bar low, none would forget that kind of pissing on the fans.

True, however, it appears the prizes could be legitimate. If that is the case, there may be another "actual" competition or drawing to win the prizes shown on the list. I don't think anyone would argue against having an equal chance at winning the prizes. Based on luck, but it levels everything out.

No, I wouldn't be against a fair fight, and I'd cheer it on if it included all the fans, not just ones from 48 states. But there is no going back now, Bioware has already royally pissed off a lot of fans who waited almost a week for a countdown, only to find out it's a contest with prizes, and they can't play. Those people aren't just going to all come back and say "Oh it's alright'.

Plus, now there are all of us, who have been busting tail to win these damned challenges for 2 days with no luck and becoming furious over the way the rules were written and executed. If they came out tomorrow or Thursday after another day or two of this, and said, it was all bull****, I think a lot of people are not going to be pleased.

So no matter what turning this into anything but the disaster it already is, is a terrible move.

So, I doubt that four new tweets insulting BioWare bazaar as Commander Shepard is going to win me any tokens, but they made me feel better.

lol, I said #BiowareBazaar needed more physical training. We'll see how this round of tweets goes down later today or tomorrow.

Insulting Bioware can't lose you any tokens either, so if it makes you feel good, do it. It's a whole lot more interesting to read than 200 tweets that just recite the quote from the game and add #MassEffect and #BioWareBazaar to it, yeah, that's real original. I'll bet you some of them win too.

It can actually make you lose all your points by disqualifying you.

Straight from the contest rules:
"Defame, misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks about other people
or companies, including but not limited to Sponsor or its competitors;"

Didn't you get the memo dude, there are no rules, it's just do whatever the hell you want in this contest. Atleast that's the approach being taken by the people that wrote them, so I'm pretty sure it means all of us can take that approach too. Right?

Bumping this cause I'm still waiting to find some people that actually won a challenge. 9 hours since this thread went up and only the 2 winners. Somebody has to be out there.

Thanks r2d2arm, appreciate it. That's about the worst news possible, but atleast I know it's time to pack it in and quit. It's about the worse case scenario, you could be brilliant, come up with a perfect tweet based on the criteria, and lose to someone that crammed a bunch of crap together that vaguely answered the question. Just because your tweet wasn't in the random batch, and the crap one was the least crappy of the ones that were there.

I have to admit, I am also disappointed about the random selection before the judging. I would like to see what kinds of responses did actually win.
