Now look. There's one thing about this game I don't get.


See, in this game, I play as COMMANDER SHEPARD, who I perceive to be THE BIGGEST BADASS IN THE GALAXY.

I was able to hold off a whole army of pirates on Elysium singlehandedly, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and MY PROWESS IS UNMATCHED.

Even though the council didn't think humanity was ready to have a spectre, they made me one, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and I ALONE AM WORTHY.

I was able to recruit a team of grade A badasses who followed me in my mission, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and EVEN GARRUS AND WREX THINK I AM MORE BADASS THAN THEM.

I took out the Thorian without killing a single colonist, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and MY PRECISION IS FLAWLESS.

I punched my way out of Saren's death grip on Virmire, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and MY FORTITUDE IS TITANIC.

Just when Udina thought he'd got me I escaped from the Citadel, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and MY FRIENDS ARE COOLER THAN YOUR FRIENDS.

When I found out the truth about Sovereign I just moved on to kill him anyway without flinching, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and I KNOW NOT THE ICY GRIP OF FEAR.

When I died, people spent obscene amounts of money rebuilding me with technology they invented specifically for me, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD, and I AM JUST THAT IMPORTANT.

I accomplished as a human what no Krogan has done in centuries, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and MY DEADLINESS IS LEGENDARY.

I am able to catch falling teammates after blowing up the terminator with nothing for my other hand to hold on to, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and EVEN GRAVITY IS AFRAID OF ME.

To top it all off, I've got a girlfriend who desperately wants to make love to me even though she would probably get sick and die from it, because I am COMMANDER SHEPARD and I REALLY DO EXUDE THAT MUCH MASCULINE SEXINESS.




.....So why the heck can't I pick up and carry more than one gun on the collector ship? A normal person could do that, even.

That's one thing that irks me too. Maybe if you were allowed to choose one each time, it would really extend the multiple playthrough longevity. Still, it's really dumb of Shepard to just choose one gun.

Edit:

Especially since the guns there are supposed to be really powerful. Even if Shepard isn't trained, his teammates are.

If it were me in Shepard's position, I would have taken Zaeed with me and  handed him the Revenant.

Notice how Shepard never scans the guns on the collector ships? So greedy.  He obviously wants the best gear for himself.

LoL! Well even though you have a point, I don't really care so much about it. However I did have lots of fun reading it and I think I'll look at the game a bit different during my next play-through.

I hate this as well I want my Widow, Claymore and Revant LMG all at once but no.



If you replay your game you automatically have the gun you chose on Collector Ship and when you get there you dont have the gun cutscene at all.

Exactly, right? If Joker can carry one gun at the end, since he's a guy with a debilitating disease, Shepard should be able to carry like 18 or 19 guns easily in comparison.

Though it probably doesn't work for the continuity, I reckon it really should have been weapons by bulk and slots.

As in, you should be able to take an SMG instead of a shotgun, or more guns instead of a heavy weapon,
