Exactly, right? If Joker can carry one gun at the end, since he's a guy with a debilitating disease, Shepard should be able to carry like 18 or 19 guns easily in comparison.

In Mass Effect 3, we should get a hanar to follow us around.

Or maybe Elcor as a mule with a small cargoload on its back. B) Worked for some "RPG" games...

If we get an Elcor, I demand said Elcor carries tank grade weapons and uses them.

They were all damaged and you used your laaaaaaaaaaast bit of the mysteriously absent Omni-Gel from Mass Effect 1 to repair the one you choose.

Instead of heavy weapons you get a customizable Elcor squadmate.  WITH FULL DESTRUCTIVE CAPABILITIES.

I'll say it again. A. Wizard. Did. It. How else can you explain the ability to use a new gun just by picking one up?

I'll take an Elcor that rocket launches you your gear remotely when you select it.

Provided he has a number of attitudes concerning it.
"With Extreme Urgency."
"Somewhat Disappointed Selection."
"Cautiously Optimistic.  Cain en route."

Ok then, Shepard was also in a musical in high school.

Not very badass anymore is (s)he?

What musical? Some are more badass than others.

The Aztecs used to have plays where they'd sing and sacrifice slaves. A priest would become an avatar of the corn god by skining the slave alive and then dancing around wearing the skin.

Look, if mass effect were about suspension of disbelief the whole game wouldn't even have a plot. Case in point: The Council.

LOL @ this whole thread and especially the OP :)

I had the same thought. Why can't I grab them all and hand them to team mates?

Whatcha mean? Didn't you get those cargos in ME2 that gave you more ammo?

I even shoved an extra thermal clip down the front, for the ladies. :D

it's this arbitrary bull crap answer:  balance.  I think it is retarded, so do a lot of people, but the developers don't want you having too easy a time in the game.  I guess they feel that if there is not enough 'challenge' that people would be disappointed.  What's really screwed is that people do not want to impose their own challenge, they want the game to do it for them.  So...that means either nerf the characters, buff the enemies or limit access to certain things if you have other things.

Nevermind just loading less than optimal gear.  No, that would make too much sense.

I grabbed the 10% more "heavy weapons ammo" upgrade instead. :D
