Whats to stop somone from just deleting there cookies and clicking on there own link? it just doenst seem like a fair way to win at all. if there anyway bioware will know and stop them from winning?

in all seriousness, the referral links are done by ip....so cookies mean nothing...although a "wise" person would go through a web proxy...if they wanted to "cheat"

Well that could still be possible if someone had an army of trojan infected computers at his disposal. Hackers use that technique for denial of service attacks, and I suspect that they could also use that technique to gain tons and tons of points. That's what I'm afraid of really, not someone who keeps changing the IP address of his own computer.
