We know Garrus does, but what about you?
I didn't miss them on my first playthrough - since characters DO frequently talk (and to eachother) during conversations.
But when I did my second playthrough and realized that even bringing two completely different characters caused them to say the same thing to each other in 90% of situations... I did start missing the elevator conversations.
I really would have liked to hear ANYONE besides myself talk to Thane, just to give an example, so we could hear every companion's perspective on death.
Do YOU miss the elevator conversations?

I miss them a lot. ;_; The characters seems dead without convos.

Yes! I missed the bonding and it was kinda lame that some of the interactions were identical between characters in ME2.

yea. i miss them. i loved the squad banter in ME1. it made the elevator rides tolerable if not enjoyable if u ask me. also, since u brought up elevators, i also miss the news broadcasts in background without having to click on a terminal.

I miss them yeah. And the occasional comments you get in various places, like Garrus commenting on crime rates on the Citadel.

I preferred the news rather than the actual teammate conversations.

Hm... you definately need to press the terminal to get Emily Wong's reports, but some of the others still broadcast on their own. The one in the passage behind Afterlife on Omega and the news/ads on Illium.since u brought up elevators, i also miss the news broadcasts in background without having to click on a terminal.

I miss the dialogue, but I don't miss the loading time... The dialogue can be inserted anywhere and I won't miss a good convo if I decide to go on a bathroom break during a loading screen...
Gimme dialogue, not elevators...

Absolutely.Gimme dialogue, not elevators...
I think one way this could have been done awesomely is if your companions occasionally left their normal areas to "visit" another companion and talk to them. Then you could walk in and listen.
This wouldn't be annoying I think since your companions can only be on 3 decks and it shows their current location on the elevator buttons.

I second the opinion of the most here - I miss the dialogs, but not the elevators.

Why can't this thing go any faster!? *zaps elevator controls*

Yes, though I do find it deliciously ironic that, because loads of people complained about how much they hated the elevators, due to them apparently being slow, boring, and a cheap way to cover up loading screens, they got replaced with...even longer loading screens.
SUCK ON THAT, WHINERS!

I missed them a lot, especially since I went straight from Dragon Age: Origins to Mass Effect 2 so the missing banter was especially noticeable in comparison

They need to bring it back for ME3. The conversations in Dragon Age are awesome.

they were great but I'd much rather they just put them at random points, or just have a random chance of one popping up like in BG so you don't know when they're coming.

Yes, I miss more conversations in ME2 but I don´t miss the superslow elevators from ME at all.

The elevators can stay in ME1, thanks.

I just run to the cockpit and talk to Joker. He makes it all better.

Considering the 'slow elevators' were replaced by 'not much faster' loading screens which were absent of awesome dialogue. Yes.
