By that same general principle, you spend 20 minutes 4 times a day trying to come up with a marginally-witty comment that may slightly increase your chances of winning some cool but ultimately disposable luxury goods in an online contest, only to have your hopes cruelly dashed.
Feel a tiny little bit of my pain, mofo.
Look buddy, spare me your BS, I didn't insult you or call you a very inappropriate name as you did me. I'm making a valid complaint about this challenge, your not even adding anything to this topic, just pissing and moaning about your own life problems. Your just spamming the topic saying "Life sucks, so shut up".
I'm not complaining for myself, I don't care whether I win or not, but I do care about this community, and I want to see loyal people from it win at the very least a decent amount of the prizes, and so far, because of some very poor rule writing and following, very few forum regulars seem to be having much luck.
Instead people that know nothing of Bioware or it's games are coming around because they saw an article on IGN or someplace and swooping in just to win gear, and when they cheat thier way to a high URL count and luck into winning enough challenges no matter how poorly written they are, they will leave this community and never come back.
I'm sorry you can't find work, but it's called the real world. No employer or employment site ever says "All resumes are created equal and shall all be viewed and judged equally" They can do what they want how they want to do it within the law, and they never claimed they would do otherwise. I can't change that, and frankly it's not my concern. I don't know that your a good employee or that you can properly do a job, I don't care, it's none of my business.
I do however have a small chance of keeping some people from getting screwed over in this contest if someone listens to my complaints and others, and is willing to work towards a solution. That's my goal here.
The rules state as follows:
Challenge Submission Judging. At or about 3 hours after the Challenge has ended, Sponsor or its designee, the Challenge Judges, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Challenges,
will independently evaluate and judge ALL eligible Submissions received on a per-Challenge basis
and select in its sole and absolute discretion up to 100 Submissions that shall win the prize of 500 tokens. The Challenge Submission Judging shall be based upon the following criteria in the Judges' sole and absolute discretion: 60% creativity, 20% appropriateness to topic, 20% skill and quality of the submission (i.e. grammar and writing skills). The Judges' decisions for any particular Challenge are final and binding. PLEASE NOTE THAT, WHILE YOU MAY SUBMIT MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS NO MORE THAN ONE OF YOUR SUBMISSIONS WILL BE SELECTED AS A WINNER IN ANY CHALLENGE.
That combined with the submission rules specifically says If anyone has a submission that isn't found to be fraudulent or inappropriate, and it's recieved within the time limit, that it WILL be judged, by the criteria. Not that it may be, or could be.
If you can't follow your own rules for a contest, then what the hell good is running it?
If you wanted it to be random draws, then fine, just say we will randomly pick tweets and don't bother answering the question because there is no judging. But don't tell everyone your going to be equally judged and have a fair shot, then not even follow your own rules.
And if you changed the rules, then damnit atleast post those changes in the official rules and tell us why you changed them. This is just wrong and the only thing it does is further hurt the actual community members from having a proper chance at winning these challenges.

Just wanted to say that I had noticed the same thing. The rules state that they "will independently evaluate and judge all eligible Submissions", but then a post from BioWare said that they judge a sampling of submissions. I think BioWare will judge how they want to, but there's certainly a discrepancy and rules should be accurate, otherwise they're just lip service.

I also sent my email last night but I haven't seen the points. I dont want to sound like a nag, especially if the only reason I haven't got my points is just cause you haven't got to mine yet. I understand that you guys have alot of things to do, I just want to make sure its not my fault.
edit: I got my points it looks like i just need to have more patience.

Make sure that you are following biofeed or they can't send you a direct message to tell you that you won a challenge.

Sorry for my newbie question, but I am supposed to click Reply on Twitter to response my answer? Or how can I post my response??
Yes, click the Tweet button, remember you have to be under 140 characters and need @biofeed #BioWareBazaar in the message line as well as the game hash.

We've just finished sending out the Twitter messages for challenge #8. Tokens for the winners of challenges #5-6 have been granted as well as some for challenge #7. Remember you have to be following @biofeed in order for us to be able to send you a message.
If you've just recently sent us an email with your Social account information we'll get you your tokens later this afternoon. Thanks for your patience.

Sometimes when I look at the auction page on the Social site, a challenge appears to have been posted. But when I go to the Twitter of biofeed (which I'm following), I don't see that particular challenge until about a few minutes to an hour later. I refresh the page and I still don't see the challenge, even though the Social auction page says it's the current challenge. There seems to be a delay of sorts.
My question is, do we send out replies to the challenge only when it appears on Twitter? Or can we send them as soon as the Social auction page says what the current challenge is?

Q.4T.
@ShepardOsiris : I believe that you might want to look in a mirror and really ask where the anger is coming from; 'cause, saying its 'for the community' is ß$ 2. I understand your very valid points and I am sure even BioWare even agrees with your points; 4 whatever, and how-ever-many, reasons they had to make a change from the rules they planned and wrote on the social page. ß*τ╫ about it now will only really negatively effect the ones doing the whining.
