I will still say CoC is the best spell in the game IF you build and play your party to set up shattering.

A two hand warrior can do two shatters - Mighty Blow + Critical Strike
Mage can cast Stonefist
Archer can critical shot
Dual Weld Warrior can use Punisher
And the S/B Warrior has the ultimate shatter power - Overpower. Save his for the yellow mob, because it gives 3 critical strikes which is three chances to shatter.

So in the opening round you can instant kill several white mobs. And odds are you can also instant kill a yellow critter. No spell can match that. The best CC in the game is too simply kill everything Posted Image


But I will say, Blood Wound is a close second.

Understandable. But saying that choosing spells by preference doesnt mean that that a best (CC) spell in the game does not exist (based on their capabilities). I repeat that I do use Sleep very often in some playthrus. It is very fun and strong when used in the way I stated. However, it still can only just about synergize with its other sister spells effectively. In just about all other situations, Sleep is outclassed by CoC and BW.
