So, in a different post I was trying to figure out what the highest possible amount of tokens, over the course of this competition, would be.  But I posted it in the wrong thread, so I'm reposting it here.

I had help from Bulldog2012 to figure out this much:

"There were 4 [twitter questions] yesterday, or so I thought. Assuming there are four each
day, you have 2000x8 (days), 16,000. Adding the 6500 you get for
registering and 500 per day from the URL, you're looking at about 26,500
points total."

I know we're missing a few components, like the extra 1 token per click after the 500 cap.  And maybe there will be more than 4 questions a day.

Can anyone else figure out better calculations or find anything we missed?

This total should give us a good idea of the highest possible amount of points (this is assuming someone wins every single twitter question).

Er... that'd require knowing how many unique IPs exist on the internet, I think.

Considering the 1 point per click after 500, and assuming that roughly 1/2 of the world's population has access to a computer (that may be a bit generous) then it should be possible to get somewhere in excess of 3 billion points a day, I'll leave you to do the rest of the calculations.

According to latest statistical data. Approximately 1,733,993,741 + whatever puny points gotten from non IP clicks  sources.

Some people are already halling in 1500 or more URL tokens a day even with the 1 token a click rule after 500, so it's pointless to even add up the other points when you got some people able to generate that many tokens a day. And hardly a single regular board user has even won a single challenge yet, so I don't think anyone is going to come close to winning all challenges.

It's pretty much the URL tokens or bust.

Ahh, only 1,203,173 people read my blog. I'll never reach the max token total.

Wow, so you guys think that many individuals will click the link over the course of eight days?

I mean, I guess it can get pretty high...but at some point it'd probably taper off. Once you've farmed out your facebook, twitter, and forums. Probably still get some here and there. Though, I guess the people who are really into this and have time to really work the net could get a lot more than I ever will.

I should revise my numbers since each IP can be counted once per day so total would be around 13,871,949,928 + 26,500 from non IP click sources.

So grand total would be 13,871,976,428.

I think Im gonna need some help....social.bioware.com/brc/1439266

I'm seeing that some people are getting clicks by the minute, and I'm wondering how the heck they are doing it? I saw a couple posts of people racing each other to 9,000 already, and here I sit at like 5,000...

How do they do it?

I echo Starke9. Any help is appreciated.

A combination of winning Twitter challenges, blogging, and posting on popular forums. All I did was register all the games and get just a bit over the standard 500 daily points and I'm sitting at over 7000, not sure why you're still at 5.

Oh, and make clicks here:

Well, I didn't start the referral thing until today, so right there is -500 tokens.  And my grand total so far today for referral tokens is only around 300.

I don't have a popular blog to use, and I don't frequent many forums.  So I'm kind of at a disadvantage I guess...

Unless you moderate a forum or have a popular blog, you'll be begging for scraps come bazaar time.

Even on the internet, the popular kids get everything. qq.

Like someone said before on this forum. It's like high school all over again. The popular kids always win.

I'm sitting at around 7000+ myself. I don't know if I'll be able to get anything really spectacular, but I'll keep trying and doing my best. Wonder if I'll be able to win any of the challenges. Those seem to be the tie breakers in this contest.

If anyone needs help they can join my thread, if you havn't already. Pretty good place to knab a few tokens and give a few tokens out.

Thanks, Komenusai. I joined earlier. I also made the mistake of trying to start another one...they locked it within minutes. :-P Had no idea it was against the rules.

Note that the popular kids on the internet are definitely not the popular kids in the outside world. So there is some balance there.

ehh? It was against the rules? Maybe you started it in one of the discussion threads. I put mine in the off topic for a reason.

Mine? 7033, not very much really. 500 a day is more or less guaranteed if your link is in all the major referral threads, and I have a total of about 80 clicks above that, or in that neighborhood anyway.

So the people losing here are the ones that are losers both outside AND on the internet?

No, it was here in the off-topic.  When they locked it they said, "Please use one of the other referral threads."  I'm assuming they did it so everyone doesn't start creating them.  you probably just got lucky and started it before everyone else.

Hey, you can post here and still be cool in the IRL, it's just not very likely.
