Ah I see. Well I did start it after the Official one was going So I suppose I am one of the lucky ones. But oh well. Just cruise on to either mine or the other ones like the official and the Link compendium (or others that I'm not aware of) and be sure to give your support.

Twitch: I'm personally in the nerd group and have nerd like friends with a combination of international friends ^^;

Hey, you can post here and still be cool in the IRL, it's just not very likely.

True, so true...

Like someone said before on this forum. It's like high school all over again. The popular kids always win.

Note that the popular kids on the internet are definitely not the popular kids in the outside world. So there is some balance there.

Hey you cant cry. You have over 8000 tokens, your far from losing :P

Lol so true. Also, I happen to know that the highest amount is 2^32 due to programming restrictions.

Me too. I think this is going to make all the difference. I might even get two computers.

:D  I keep meaning to go throw my link in the sig panels of some other forums, but I don't have the time.

For those who are going to other forums for clicks, are you just using the sig panel, or are you actually starting threads asking for clicks?

I was thinking creating a thread would get it locked in most forums, but I'm just curious.

Both, I just made the actual thread in our spam forum.  (That's how we manage to keep *most* of the spam out of other places- put up a forum where spam was allowed and encouraged)

Interesting. I guess I could try in the off-topic/general discussion areas.

If you post your referral link on 4chan and promise them you'll show off your breasts if you get more clicks, that could work well.

I don't think you want this badly enough if you aren't willing to have breasts.

Unless you moderate a forum or have a popular blog, you'll be begging for scraps come bazaar time.

Even on the internet, the popular kids get everything. qq.

Quote of the day. People who can embed their img'd referral code in a heavily trafficked webpage will be rolling in tokens. Imagine getting it on the front page of Digg!?

yeah people that are more comfortable about spamming the crap out of social sites have the considerable edge in this contest.

Personally I'm just going to do what I can here and there and hope I get enough to points to buy something nice. I'm gunning high for the computers but I know I'll most likely only get like a Hoody or something XD

True. I'm not all that comfortable spamming sites for some tokens. i don't expect to ever get enough for a computer, so I'm just playing along with high hopes.

Ever since I got my referral link on the first page of the apology sticky, I've been getting like 3 or 4 clicks a minute. Hopefully they take mercy on me and don't remove my link. It really was an afterthought, I didn't post there to get that link up.

Yeah, the one from Ray Muzyka talking about why they couldn't roll the auctions out in all areas. The click rate has dropped a bit, probably as peopke are beginning to skip to the later pages, but I've still gotten over 30 clicks in the last 10 minutes or so.

Considering the 1 point per click after 500, and assuming that roughly 1/2 of the world's population has access to a computer (that may be a bit generous) then it should be possible to get somewhere in excess of 3 billion points a day, I'll leave you to do the rest of the calculations.

You forgot to take into account the limit of connection's before Bioware's server would crash again

Oh, I figured they had upgraded to the point where their servers could handle a few billion people, but maybe I'm wrong.

I dunno, I just saw a couple screen-shots of people who are close to or over 2,000 points just for referrals. If you figure 1000 of those are two days worth of the 10 points per click (100 clicks = 1000 points) Then the other 1000 points are 1:1 ratio.

That means in two days, these users are averaging 1,100 clicks, or 550 clicks per day.

If that number holds out, they will have (2000 x 8) 16,000 points from referrals alone. This is assuming the clicks do not taper off, or increase.

Let me know if I screwed up the calculations.  i'm an English teacher and suck at math.  :P

I'm not even gonna try

why work your arse off getting max points like tons of others out there just to place a bid? if you could buy something with the points it's a different matter, but obsessing over points just in the hopes to get a mug? no thanks, I'll buy one for $5 instead.

that's right, you can get 7 mill points and be damn lucky to get a mouse pad since it's an -auction-!!

Aye, it is an uphill battle. I just submitted Ray's thread to Digg though. If anyone picks it up, we'll see if I can get more tokens. Of course this was not in the effort of getting more tokens, I just figured people should know about this.

It should have all been by challenge. They should have asked really hard questions (timed, so people can't cheat) and whoever gets right wins. This URL crap is stupid- I understand the 500 normally, but people who **** themselves out are going to be getting all the stuff.
