Ouch.
So a DEF isn't allowed to evolve and to change during her long travel with a group of humans, who are actually good and friendly to her?
Odd.
Sure attitudes can change from person to person, but you can also think perfectly well of some people while still findining their group as of a whole distrustful and distasteful, look at how many white people thought well of uncle toms during and before the civil rights era, does it mean they liked black people as a whole or thought better of them because of it? Would they even consider an interacial pairing as anything but perverse and immoral? I very much doubt it. Considering Thedas' history just about everyone's attitudes should be just about that (if not even more) @ssbackwards on all sides of the issue. Humans because they think of themselves as superior and Dalish not only because of their history but also because no matter the circumstances or living conditions in the long term a cosmopilitan society would result in a net loss for the elves period.
Also as nice and friendly as they are, every one in that group is using you too their own purposes, to some extent sure love can bloom*, but if you keep in mind what ultimately brought your unlikely band of rag-tag heroes together it makes it a lot easier to RP detached and distrustful, it doesn't mean you have to be a dick to them, but the PC doesn't need to become emotionaly invested either.
-Alistair, you're his emotional crutch.
-Morrigan, God-Baby.
-Sten, redemption.
-Leliana, you're a tool of the Maker and prop to validate her visions.
-Wynne, ego boost, she gets to play mentor figure to next big hero.
-Zevran, scary thing that keeps the crows away.
-Shale, has nothing better to do.
-Oghren, Branka finder and later on your quest serves as an emotional outlet for his many many issues.

I love the Dalish, I love playing a Dalish Warden, who remains true and Dalish.
If you're in a relationship that can end up with you spawning little human babies you've already failed at remaining "true" Dalish, there shouldn't really be a need to explain that. Being Dalish is much more about preserving the lore and bloodlines of ancient Arlathan and the Dales' nobility than it is about being different for it's own sake or nomadic, the first two are the ultimate goals while the later are simply a means to those ends.
I just can't stand a Warden who stagnated. If someone can RP that in the end he/she still is the bitter, xenophobic elf person like she/he was in the beginning, more power to you. I for myself would bore myself to death....cuz where is all the fun in that?
Eheh, I realise I can (and probably have) come off as a little strong in my previous post and in the above part of my reply. But I'm very much a lorebuff when I get into setting and I like getting into the mentality of the setting and the the approximate era it corresponds to. Which is why I find squeeing DEF Alistair fangirls, Atheistic Chantry Hating Egalitarian Couslands, tolerant and forgiving Tabrises, and Harrowmont loving Broscas so bluh, it feels like people are ascribing and playing to modern values in a setting where most of the concepts should either be viewed as alien or foolish. Any ways back on point:
I've managed to RP broken/resentful to the point my Mahariel told Ashalle to stuff it in the epilogue for being abandonned by the clan and went into self imposed exile as Teyrna of Gwaren.
Had another who thought well of Alistair but ultimately viewed him as a tool to further the Dalish/elven agenda and stayed on as his chancellor.
Had another who was just happy to be done with it and looking foward to rejoinning the clan in their new homeland.
