Tweeter is an inherent sign of what is wrong with information overload. The concept that human beings need constant updates in no more than 140 characters to hold your attention span is indicative of a superficial society that bypasses quality for quantity.

I had a twitter account before the contest, butttt if I didn't, I would have deffffinitely joined just for this contest. I have it send texts to my phonezorz from @biofeed so I can respond no matter where I am too! ^^

Well, for some reason my twitter account was suspended, and is being investigated due to "strange activity". wow, this is the internet, it's like they never had anyone spam a link before lol. time to go check my e-mail for more info!

So no e-mail yet, tried to delete my account but the link wasn't there. I believe that they have to "investigate" your account, and then bring down the banhammer on your account and e-mail address. So they block you from deleting your account so you can't just sign up again. Annoying, but it makes sense, can only blame myself lol. So basically, don't spam like me if you want the opportunity to use twitter in the future! But for now, have a goodnight everyone!

I am certainly not going to sign up to a service that I don't trust or like. My caution for things like this prevents lots of spam. In fact... I get no spam. Given the fact that I am using e-mail for over a decade now, I think that's an healthy attitude. And I am not about to change it for a "competition".

While I have never cell phone text messaged, I have had a cell phone since 2000.  Reason being, however, in Chicago we got fed up with trying to deal with Ameritech (the only game in town) after a couple months.  After getting a cell phone the wife and I realized (as we were moving constantly) that not having to pay for phone installation was very, very nice.
Now that we've been in our house we own in Wisconsin for 5 years the thought crossed our mind a few months back to maybe get a land line, but while neither of us use our phones much (I personally hate talking on a phone anyway), the security of having them in case of emergencies (we have a daughter) is too great to give them up.

Twitter, however, is just a time-waster.
