A reminder to please keep insults and personal attacks off the forums.
I'm glad people are taking Ray & Greg's apology to heart and it was sincere and it is genuine. I know there will always be people out there who say "well I doubt it was last minute complications" (people still doubt the moon landing, the power of bacon as a cure-all, my ability to jump tall buildings in a single bound, etc) but I would suggest that if they weren't last minute complications, do you really think we'd have excluded Canada? Where we are? Really?
Anyways, moving on now. Time for an apology from me as well. The BioWare Bazaar IS a cool event and, if we had been able to get it working as we intended, potentially Epic. Yes, not nearly enough people are able to be part of it (see Ray & Greg's apology), but the event is cool. Where I went wrong is in how we marketed it to you and for that I apologize. We used the word "Epic" before we had proven that it was. Sorry. We also used the Countdown timer to generate interest. In hindsight, this allowed rampant speculation which caused disappointment. Again, sorry. While I won't promise we will never use a timer like it again, I can promise we will make sure that such a timer is worthy of the interest it will attract.
So, for those who are taking part in the BioWare Bazaar, thanks for your interest. We are having a great response and people are having fun with it. And for those who cannot be part of the BioWare Bazaar, my apologies as well. As Ray & Greg indicated, we do have more events coming this year to celebrate our 15th Anniversary, including the one specifically for those who were excluded from the Bazaar. We do greatly value our Community. All of it, no matter where you are from and we're going to prove it.
So how about it? Group hug?

Can I keep the sign, though? You know, I rather like it

Thank you again, Ray, Greg, and Chris for a response. May the rest of your day be less....problematic.
Cheers!

Bah, I edited this response into my other post without thinking about how many posts would slam the thread while I did so. *donks her forehead* HERE:Maviarab wrote...
Cat....your coming off as very defensive lately.....
This site sucks lizard eggs lol....its not hard to build a website and have it working correctly.....in house or not....web design is not difficult....
Sorry if I'm coming off as defensive, Mav, my apologies, I don't mean
to. I'm just trying to point out facts and I certainly didn't say the
website doesn't occasionally have issues and that it doesn't have
recurring issues.
I am simply trying to be something of a voice
of reason, I keep seeing people post things that sound outlandish to me.
Like questioning whether or not people are even working on a patch/the
website. That's ridiculous.

Glad to see that the non-American fans will get contests... But I am glad it's not a world wide event, because then I'd never even have a chance to win anything ever...
(my referral thing's a little below this)

I have, because I know for a fact that the legal issue that reulted in the exlusion of people was something they were attempting to work around while pushing the even foreward.TonyTheBossDanza123 wrote...
And neither have you.
But thanks for trying.

How about uhh... Everyone. Seriously, read the TOS of EVERY CONTEST YOU ENTER! Guarantee you there are either excluded states, excluded countries, or both. God I honestly think this is the first time you guys have read the TOS for a contest.
I think you fail to see that we would not have been that angry had we been told from the beginning of the countdown of the epic community event that the event was only for the American (minus 2) community - THAT was the problem. But you see the announcement to an "epic community event" and as you feel part of this community you start looking forward to it - only to find out in the legal fineprint that you cannot participate.
It's not really about being ineligible to enter, it's about getting our hopes high because of (failed) marketing and being given the feeling that we're not part of the community. An epic community event that only includes half of the community is not an epic community event ...
But now there is an apology and the promise to make things right ... if they keep this promise, everything's fine again.
I'm gonna spell it for you, ok?

Sadly something the up and coming generation is lacking as evident by their posts in this forum.
They'd rather group up in a mob and scream at the top of their lungs rather than think rationally.
I fear for humanity...
Is it just me or is it beginning to look like a birds-eye-view of Egypt in here?

Sweet Cat, I meant those hypnotic squares quotes inside a quote, inside a quote, inside a quote... make it 10 folds and my 1680x1050 res cannot hold it inside the page, my eyes hurt trying to read them. If only people would be so nice as to edit and leave only one or two squares when quoting. I try to do it when quoting people.

One reason people question that is because after five months they haven't fixed the game. They made dlc, they made an expansion and still didn't fix the game. I don't think it to be that unreasonable that after five months I'd like to actually have dexterity work properly in my game (broken in origins and awakenings). I think it's more frustration with a lack of any fixes than people actually questioning whether or not they're being worked on.
