I did not say that being able to forgive makes you a sheep.
I said I respect being able to forgive, to a certain degree.
Instead of trying to dissect someone's psyche, just attempt to accept them for who they are?
Where's the fun in that?
Sorry..I'm not your pet frog..find another

SC2 lack of Lan in lue of BNET. Which has the most attrocious forum moderation possible.
WoW, to coin a phrase from American politics, flip flopping on use of paid services.
WoW in general and the design choices behind it.
WoW forums ....... which is what happens when you listen to your user base.
I only cite WoW since Blizzard hasn't really offered anything of value beyond it until SC2 or Diablo III comes out. Which to degrees count on there own merits in certain regards.

Is Chris Priestly a bioware employee or EA employee?DraCZeQQ wrote...
i dont get this sheep thing tbh ... i bet we all wanted to believe Bioware, and were just waiting for any reason to forgive them since as we all know, the EA PR is to blame. They used good name of Bioware, the awesome Bioware community for their cheap marketing tricks ... Bioware apologized, thats absolutely fine by me ...
Because we all know he's this man's brother

Just ask yourself:
Is it logical for a professional company to not have investigated any and all legal complications in the areas you are about to unleash a contest in?
Especially a professional company that relies on it's good name, like Bioware.
It seems rather, suicidal to me, especially after announcing it to the ENTIRE community.
Not that I want to drag this out, since I need some sleep, but all I ask is that people think for themselves. Nothing more.
However, for me the matter is closed.
Good fight, good night.

Something like...
Drew Karpyshyn: Chris have you got a minute? Im writing Ashley's romance and I'm stuck. I dunno how Shepard would go about wooing her.
Chris Priestly: Drew sit down son, let me tell you all about the ladies
perhaps?

This is probably a redundant question, but why do you let Bioware of the hook for it so willingly?Sethronu wrote...
From my days playing World of Warcraft (EU servers), I still remember the amount of drama and legal b.s. there had been around every single event involving any kind of prizes etc - and this was on a game with a massive branch based in Europe, with their very own legal department. Certain countries' residents weren't eligible to participate in pretty much anything that involved 'real' prizes, there's been restrictions from others and so on.
Can't say this stuff with Bazaar is a big surprise to me - if anything, all the rage should go against stupid and poorly worded laws of countries & certain states, not the company.
Because he has no idea at all, there have never been much legal issues with Blizzard E. Events, there were NONE. They have their Blizzcon thats it, and it isn´t international. And if the guy would have any information at all he would have pointed out the incredible and massive problems considering servers and support in europe in the past.
But anyway he is not able to grasp the big picture and why fans are pissed. Comparing Blizzard and Bioware won´t work.
Edit: yes great for you that you love your wow. no one cares at all.

Is Bioware going to allow Floirda and New York to join in on this in the future or are they just going to skip us? I am still frustrated that I am not allowed to join in on the auctioning off of prizes since I am in Florida.

BioWare definitely really values all members of our world-wide Community, no matter where you live. Accordingly, in the coming weeks, we will be announcing details about future events specifically for fans living in those territories which were excluded from participating in the first BioWare Bazaar. The future events will be a bit different from the first Bazaar in how they’re set up and structured, but our goal is to feature the same caliber of awesome prizes and great BioWare collectibles. We’ll announce more details in the coming weeks

Yep they said they will be included. Hit the bioware button just beneath the thread name on threads list and you will see all the devs posts in this thread. Look for Chris Priestly's first post.

Dont spoil it for me :-) ... i want to believe that:
Bioware = guys that MAKE awesome games
EA = the evil guys that makes these referal links tricks, force bioware to make crappy undercooked dlc for money instead of one awesome datadisc (like Tales of the SC, Throne of Bhaal, ...)
so the question is are really the guys that makes games to blame, or the EA PR division that just happens to own Bioware brand now to use it as they wish ...
