I hope they wouldn't. Wouldn't be cost effective.

Thank you very much for your reply. You have shown that you do, in fact, care about your community and I think it makes a great deal of people feel… good. It’s always nice to know that one has not been abandoned. Thank you for that reassurance.
The reasons for the contest rules are totally irrelevant. The rules and restrictions are what they are because there are specific reasons for those limitations. Otherwise, there would be no limitations. It has been stated quite clearly on a number of occasions and threads that the cause of the majority of the community being so surprised/taken aback/shocked/upset/outraged was the way the advertising for this event was handled and presented to us. I am sure you are aware of this and hopefully this has been a learning experience for everyone.
While I am glad that other events for other parts of the world are in the works, I do hope that they will not follow the popularity contest style that this Bazaar event appears to utilize. I, personally, have no interest in participating in popularity contests. But I do wish all the best of luck to all those participating and send my heartfelt congratulations to the (eventual) winners. Good luck guys!
You will notice only one game icon below my avatar. I will be more than happy to go out and purchase Awakening for whatever price it will be at the time once I know for a fact that installing Awakening doesn’t require me to shoot my Origins in the foot. And I will be more than happy to register my copy of Awakening, whether I get tokens for it or not.
I am a great fan of KOTOR and DA:O (alas, have missed the BG and NWN train… even thou I have been playing games for, oh, roughly, twenty years… you understand the term “roughly” means “not nearly as much”, right? RIGHT?). I am still awaiting word from the good people at Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Restoration Project… err… anyone know what happened to them? Perhaps an igloo fell on them while they were tying off their parked polar bears? Thou if they are not Canadian, then it could have been anything, I suppose. But if they are Canadian, then it must have been the igloo.
And speaking of which… Mr. Gaider, you sure know how to write an immersing story. But darn, I’m STILL depressed from reading “The Stolen Throne”. Next time, can you come up with something a wee bit more cheerful? Like, perhaps, fluffy bunnies and my little pony and them care bears. I mean, there’s only so much death and despair one can take, besides, all that gloom is so unbelievable.
But I digress…
The reason we hold a special place in our hearts for Bioware… you see, the reason for that is the joy and entertainment that the games YOU create bring us. And when you continue to create these marvelous games, have a dialogue with your fans/customers, try and address their concerns, provide technical support after they have purchased your product… that, my friends, is what creates a following… a community.
Something tells me that EA has missed that memo. *sigh* Why, oh why would you allow yourselves to be bought out like that dear Bioware? EA, after your brilliant track record of awesome customer non service, we would like you to vacate these Great White North premises and leave good people to do good work. Shoo! No, you say? Well then, we shall approach you and repeat in a firmer tone of voice that we would like for you to vacate these Great White North premises… or ELSE!
Where is your national pride Bioware, where?
Sing it:
I know this place is where I am
No other place is better than
No matter where I go I am
Proud to be Canadian
I am, you know I am
I am Canadian
I am, you know I am
I am Canadian
Come on!
I love this country where I am
This land is where I make my stand
No other heart is truer than
The one we call Canadian
Sing it!
I am, you know I am
Know I am
I am Canadian
Know I am
I am, you know I am
Know I am
I am Canadian
I am Canadian!
And in conclusion:
Happy 15th B-Day Bioware!
PS. Apologies if the links don't work, apparently I'm a dweeb and for some reason just cannot make a link work on here, even with the Bcc code. Oh well...

A reminder to please keep insults and personal attacks off the forums.
I'm glad people are taking Ray & Greg's apology to heart and it was sincere and it is genuine. I know there will always be people out there who say "well I doubt it was last minute complications" (people still doubt the moon landing, the power of bacon as a cure-all, my ability to jump tall buildings in a single bound, etc) but I would suggest that if they weren't last minute complications, do you really think we'd have excluded Canada? Where we are? Really?
Anyways, moving on now. Time for an apology from me as well. The BioWare Bazaar IS a cool event and, if we had been able to get it working as we intended, potentially Epic. Yes, not nearly enough people are able to be part of it (see Ray & Greg's apology), but the event is cool. Where I went wrong is in how we marketed it to you and for that I apologize. We used the word "Epic" before we had proven that it was. Sorry. We also used the Countdown timer to generate interest. In hindsight, this allowed rampant speculation which caused disappointment. Again, sorry. While I won't promise we will never use a timer like it again, I can promise we will make sure that such a timer is worthy of the interest it will attract.
So, for those who are taking part in the BioWare Bazaar, thanks for your interest. We are having a great response and people are having fun with it. And for those who cannot be part of the BioWare Bazaar, my apologies as well. As Ray & Greg indicated, we do have more events coming this year to celebrate our 15th Anniversary, including the one specifically for those who were excluded from the Bazaar. We do greatly value our Community. All of it, no matter where you are from and we're going to prove it.
So how about it? Group hug?
Aww, you big lug. How could we stay mad at you? C'm'ere!

As an Englishman (prefer that to British, we all seem to have our own governments setting up their own policies and always fun beating/mocking the Scots
