I'd say the best way to celebrate it is to have chat sessions with your favorite developers on chat providers like Xfire, vids showing how a day at bioware looks like, that kind of thing.
I'd find that more epic then this, TBH.

Hi everyone -
The BioWare Bazaar was launched this week as the start of a year-long celebration around BioWare’s 15th anniversary.
We recognize that BioWare has a global community, and the Bazaar this week was originally intended to be an international event to reflect our truly global fanbase. Unfortunately, we encountered some last-minute legal complications around how contests can be structured in different parts of the world that prevented us from including all territories in this first event, even though that was our original goal. And for that, we sincerely apologize – our goal with this sort of celebration is to show all our fans worldwide how much we appreciate your support!
BioWare definitely really values all members of our world-wide Community, no matter where you live. Accordingly, in the coming weeks, we will be announcing details about future events specifically for fans living in those territories which were excluded from participating in the first BioWare Bazaar. The future events will be a bit different from the first Bazaar in how they’re set up and structured, but our goal is to feature the same caliber of awesome prizes and great BioWare collectibles. We’ll announce more details in the coming weeks
The reception from those fans who have been able to take part in this first event has been incredible – thank you for participating! - and we’re looking forward to future events where we can enable fans from additional territories to also join in the fun.
Thank you all for your continued and ongoing support and participation in the BioWare Community – we really appreciate all your support over the past 15 years, and the future will be even brighter!
Sincerely,
Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk
Co-founders, BioWare
How come smaller companies than EA/Bioware can post global competitions then?

No, I don't think I will get over this until those promises to make it up to us are followed through with. Apology rejected.... for now.

Oh why wasn't this more upfront? I'm just finding out about this earlier today. I mean yeah there are the rules where it states it, but the thing was being promoted as a community wide event! I mean it's a Canadian company, I had just assumed.... oh well that's what I get for not reading the rules more closely I guess.

They didn't even release the rules before the countdown finished, so there was no way you could know.

That's wishful thinking. Even if it were to happen I would pray to Lady Tymora that it's based on 3E, not 4E. Not after how WotC decided to nuke the Forgotten Realms and leave it to die a slow lingering death.

Not to mention that Atari hold the license for publishing D&D games, and BioWare are published exclusively by EA now (as they're an EA subsidary), so unless there's a lot of legal wrangling BioWare will not have anything to do with it outside of possibly forming the basics of the engine (so it'd be like Obsidian's NWN2 and CD Projekt Red's The Witcher, basically).Symbol117 wrote...

Are you trying to make me cry?
Didn't know that Atari held the publishing license for D&D games. But makes sense to me now and explains NWN2. ....and why I didn't like it.
Now I even have an urge to play BG1, BG2, and NWN...and even Eye of the Beholder series.

I'm very happy to hear that a new event will come up sooner than later, will be looking forward to it.
Though, I really hope I don't have to get me a twitter account..
Anyway, thanks for the official reply, which is all I wanted (as mentioned in my posts earlier), and happy big 15.
Sincerely,

I take it we get around 5000 extra bonus tokens ontop of the ones we collect now and then be able to use all of it in those community events you have planned? Or are you going to take a competition root, so that only 1 or 2 people can win something?
Also, I have a question. What about those living in europe, that have an american girlfriend? Can we participate in the american only bazaar? I mean my girlfriend is willing to allow me to use her adress.
