What is the "truth" according to Rahath..evidently other people's "truths" don't matter here, just your own?

So far, people have outlined what they think and believe, and you just reject it all out of hand.

I am asking questions, and I will keep asking them.
I will not be silenced, unless banned, which will only prove I'm right, in which case my point is made for the few that do care about the truth and sincerity.
I do this not for myself, since I have no stake in the competition, or any future competition. I have no interest in joining it.
I am trying to make people see the truth.
If they tell the truth and apologize, and it's sincere, I'm content.
What they have done with the first apology is nothing close to it.
It is not logical for the points mentioned many times before.
I want the community, that includes all of you, to be treated better by Bioware and EA.
We, all of us, deserve honesty.

You are going to have to try quite a bit harder to get banned if you have some fantasy of going down as a martyr.  You can continue to ask questions but unless you gain the attention of Woo (who responded to Luckman and Sloth in one thread) you are not going to get much more information unless Priestly pops in and feels like responding to you.  I do not work for Bioware so I do not answer for them, and also it would be reckless of me to take your side in asking for questions.

So, the idea is to flood this thread with spam to make sure that it will be closed. That's a smart way to sabotage threads containing opinions you don't like.

Or to get a temp-ban.

Hehe. Agreed.

Rahath certainly has a point.

The only "point" Rahath has..is me..:D   Well at least lately.     He needs to get a new hobby.

What you need to do is stop derailing the thread.

ahhh yes Master.....I am going with the flow of this thread..if you don't like that..well there's nothing I can do about it.

I am telling you that derailing this thread is not i the best interest of anyone.

Then stop derailing it..and talk about the topic? :)

How would I know the truth unless I worked for Bioware or EA?
What kind of question is that?
All I know is that we have been given a standard answer, an answer that is implausible to say the least.

What I reject out of hand is: Oh, at least we got an apology.
The apology means nothing if it is not sincere, which logic would dictate it is not.

Indeed..that is EXACTLY what I stated earlier on in this thread....we don't have a "spy" working behind the scenes at Bioware offices..so we don't know for sure what that "truth" might be.

Again...I'll ask...HOW do you know its not sincere?   You don't know that, I don't know that.   That is subjective opinion coming from your view....that not everyone shares.

And...instead of dwelling on it for the next ten years, and getting an ulcer over this "unknown" factor...why not accept what has been said..and move on?

They state this is a year long celebration of their 15th anniversary.    So...I am going to take them at their word..for now.

We do not HAVE to know the truth to question a given reply/answer/apology.
In many previous posts the reasons for my doubts have been outlined. Those reasons are why I do not believe the apology, and I would assume everyone can use logic and look at them.
If you look at those reasons posted, and give me logical answers to why they would support the original apology, I will drop it for now. From all the guys trying to silence me here, so don't take it personally.
The reasons are in a former piece I "quoted", from the guy you all crucified for his "unusual humor".

For comfort, I will outline the points here:

Here's a hot tip for the lot of you: Just because someone says "I sincerely..." doesn't mean that they are sincere. A incinsere person have no problem at all feigning sincerity.

Consider this. Last minute legal issues. Let's say that the apologies as sincere. By that virtue, the statement that the problems were due to legal issues must also be true. For that to be true, we must also accept that:

* Bioware had no knowledge of these possible legal issues, despite these legal issues being well-known throughout an industry to which they have been a part of for 15 years. There are many corporations that hold many contests that are exclusive to certain regions, exactly due to legal issues. They are unwilling or unable to spend the resources necessary to make an event or contest inclusive.

* Electronic Arts, a multinational corporate giant with vast resources and a legal department the size of Pluto was also unaware of the fact that different regions had different laws.

* These legal issues were so prevalent so that they affected every single nation on this planet, except 48 states in the USA.

* These legal issues cropped up when there were less than 6 days left on an event that has taken, at the very least, several months to plan.

Starting to sound far-fetched? That's because it is. The organizers are either Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star, or - more likely since starfishes and sponges have a limited capability to organize real-world and web events - lying. Or just all-out malicious, but I prefer to think that there's still good in the world.

So how are these "apologies" in any way acceptable, if the very foundation for them; the explanation that this was all due to legal issues, are insincere?

We would like to welcome our viewing audience to the Grand World Championship Bicentennial

Heavyweight Fight -- the first major event of the Bicentennial Year... A point of interest is that the fight is being beamed to more than seven hundred and fifty million fans in theatres in nearly every corner of theworld. I would like to welcome an old friend, and co-commentator for this evening's event -- Masticetobbacco.

Thank you, Maviarab. The electricity is everywhere tonight. Feraele Balboa, a fifty-to-one underdog, is living a Cinderella story which has captured peoples' imaginations all over the world -- to quote a popular gaming magazine, 'The fighting style should be 'The Caveman Against the Cavalier.' From

the increase in sound it appears the challenger is now approaching the ring... Her record is forty-four wins, two losses and thirty-eight knockouts.

=====

The Chump stings the slower challenger with jabs at will -- Balboa blocks eighty percent of the blows with her block -- Rahath doesn't look the best he's ever been but is moving smoothly -- Feraele snaps out a triple combination that backs Rahath into a corner --oh, a solid hook by Feraele, a master of verbal fist.

The underdog is smiling and toying with her man -- trying to give the fans their money's worth and make a show of it with the badly out-classed champion -- Another left to right combination. I feel sorry for

RAHATH IS DOWN.....

If you had asked anyone who knows the internets, they never would've predicted a first round knockdown and the second round punishment to the body of the Champion... Most fighters will tell you, receiving a good body punch is the next worst thing to dying...

Round three ready to start and it should be interesting to see if Rahath can put the challenger away -- there goes the bell....

Feraele almost sprints out of her corner -- feints and throws a verbal pair of left-right combinations. Feraele drops beneath a left upper cut and lands a very solid shot on Rahath's temple -- not much movement from Rahath, duck a left, a right, another left and explodes with a right hook to the temple -- I mean explodes. The Champ backs off.

There's no way Rahath expected this kind of hitting power.

No way -- but the brilliant ability of the underdog to master situations like this is one of her most outstanding traits -- Feraele tosses a perfect right hand that rocks Rocky...errr...I mean rahath

Rahath on the offensive -- feraele takes the punishmentand and counters with a left flush over the heart... that HURT Rahath...

Without a doubt this is the most punishing brawl I have ever seen -- The forum audience is spotted with blood. This fight should have been stopped pages ago but Rahath refuses to fall --

Well Rahath..it wouldn't be the first time..within or across company departments..that the right hand didn't communicate to the left hand..til it was too late to avert..disaster.

And I do see it as a communication problem...both with their fanbase, and possibly between EA and Bioware.

At the last minute, while the planning has been going on for months?
And with all their experience in numerous countries for over 15 years?

Just think if it still sounds logical if you ask yourself those questions.
But if you still truly believe the original apology even after answering those questions, we'll just have to agree to disagree on this matter and leave it at that.

Well I already did that some pages ago in this thread. :)    And yes..while planning has been going on for months...don't forget Bioware is a sub-section of a very large international company.. ..David and Goliath basically...so it IS possible to mess up here.
