So despite the fact both you and EA are Canadian companies you can't be
bothered to offer it to Canadians. Your all retarded.

...the Bazaar this week was originally intended to be an international event to reflect our truly global fanbase. Unfortunately, we encountered some last-minute legal complications around how contests can be structured in different parts of the world that prevented us from including all territories in this first event, even though that was our original goal.

Likely true.....aksoileau wrote...
I think some of the fans owe Bioware an apology themselves.
Still part of the same company. PR would have done better than to mail the developers a $60,000 bonus to fix the bugs, that would make me buy again, fixed patchs and games.Feraele wrote...

Still a waste of time and money for a PR stunt for twitter fans and the like.
Fix some damn games please. Don't feel like doing 200 challenges to maybe at best win a t-shirt seeing as i have classes during the day and can't do all the challenges.
Everyone on your website isn't an idiot, child or a complete fanboy yelling yeepee biowar stuffs and maybe some ram etc. And this still doesn't explain the EPIC event? Don't drum roll up a turd.
PR and Marketting don't do bug fixes...lol

So why should we take all of this as the truth considering past events?
I remain skeptical that it was ever intended to be global.

This was not about being excluded from the Bazaar. For me it was about the way it was brought. We had to find out in the fine print. I cannot believe that you made the legal decisions one second before the counter reached zero.
At least it is cool that you've responded. Thanks for the message. At least we know something more.
This.
The last-minute thing is a convenient way to excuse a lack of thinking.

You must be new here?GeneralGrende wrote...
I'm glad to see BioWare reaching out to the rest of the world, but the general reaction here pisses me off. BioWare was doing this as an extra fan-service thing, they had no responsibility or pressure to do ANYTHING for us, so people should have just given them a nod of respect. They are doing something above and beyond what they need to do, or what anyone expected them to do.
I can't believe people are bashing them for this, for doing totally un-needed fan-service. They are an awesome company to be doing this at all, in any regions, so just be happy good companies like this exist (as opposed to crap companies like Activision).
I don't care what *you* think. I have thanked these gentlemen and for me that's enough. It looks like a sincere message. What else is there to say?ImperialOperative wrote...

Corporations move rather slowly, that we got a response in a little over 24 hours is quite a fast response.
You should be satisfied. But you'll likely just wallow in disappointment like always.
