I should probably mention that I never broke up with Leliana after I chose Morrigan. I didn't choose any breakup dialogs for Leliana and Leliana never confronted me about it and Morrigan never brought it up again. They had their catty banter afterwards, but nothing ever came of it.

Wow, guys have it FAR easier then.  Neither Zevran nor Alistair will share; I'm not sure if Leliana will, because I usually have found out I somehow turned on the romance when clicking on Zevran and being called to the carpet.  For the third of forth time!  :crying:

Well, this only happened this particular run through, after 3 other run throughs of being forced to choose. I spent a lot of time early in the game talking to all the companions and getting their approvals high as soon as possible, so I think I triggered Leliana's quest between Redcliffe and the Urn, and hardened her long before she reached the love stage. That may have had something to do with it.
Morrigan doesn't want to share either, btw, none of them do normally, so she made me choose. It's Leliana who didn't care that I chose Morrigan, she continued to be in love with me, and I still had all the love dialog options available. Of course, I also never chose to break up her either.  Morrigan was apparently satisfied that I had chosen her, and was blind to all the times I continued to invite Leliana to my tent. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.pngMorrigan also gave me her ring twice, which is why I think this particular run through may have been bugged.

Okay, here's the key to Leliana. There is one particular conversation that makes all the difference. After completing her sidequest, you have the conversation where you can harden her or not. After that, there's another one where you talk to her about Marjolaine again. There are 3 particular dialogue options that are critical:

"You miss her...."

"She meant a lot to you...."

"Someday I hope to mean as much..."

If you choose those dialogue options, it will rekindle Leliana's romance even if you dumped her before. So if you chose Morrigan when Leliana asked you to choose, then had the above conversation with her afterwards, then you're golden. You've got both girls. Morrigan will tell you go break up with Leliana again, but like I said in a previous post there will be no option to actually do so, and then neither one of them mentions it again.

It works the other way as well, but is more simple. When Morrigan asks you choose one or the other, you can choose Leliana. Then go to Orzammar and buy the golden mirror. Give it to Morrigan and tell her it's "just a gift for a beautful woman." Viola! You've got both girls again.

I usually choose Morrigan first and have that critical conversation with Leliana later. Why? Because I want to wait until I've got my coercion up to at least 3 before doing Leliana's side quest. Why again? Isobella. Nuff said.

Did you get to have sex with both? If not, I'd rather only romance one anyways.... Ha.

Of course. You can go back and forth between the two sleeping with each of them and no one says a word about it.

It is possible to end the game having active romances with both Morrigan and Leliana while both are in love with a male warden if you are extremely careful in navigating your plot & dialogue choices. The love triangle dialogues are set to only trigger once each and it's possible to trigger both Morrigan's & Leliana's adore approval jealousy dialogues before being forced to break up with one of them. This is because telling Morrigan that you choose her does not automatically cut off the romance with Leliana. Morrigan expects your character to then tell Leliana it's over. Leliana's jealousy dialogue will then trigger when you click on her and you can still change your mind and pick either. Your romance with the one you don't choose will then be cut off. If you later restart your romance with the one you rejected after her quest, you will then be free to pursue both simultaneously since you already triggered both adore jealousy dialogues the first time around. You have two chances to restart a romance with Morrigan, after retrieving Flemeth's Grimoire (her personal quest) and by giving her the Golden Mirror gift found in Orzammar Commons from the merchant Garin and say something about it being a gift for a beautiful woman (Note for ps3 patch 1.06: She could give you just the chance with the Golden Mirror, no chance available after completing Flemeth's Grimoire). On the contrary, if you have not completed Leliana's companion quest, you could tell Morrigan you intend to end things with Leliana and tell Leliana that you have chosen Morrigan, then confront Marjolaine. Afterward, you must ask Leliana about Marjolaine and choose the dialogue line "She was special to you, wasn't she?" which will automatically restart your romance with her. If the correct dialogue is chosen she should offer to share her tent and both Morrigan and Leliana will be engaged in an active romance with the Warden, as both of their jealousy conversations have been already triggered. Either of these will only work if their approval ratings remain above 70, which is easily accomplished with gifts, especially those from the Feast Day DLC, available at Bodahn's shop. Note that the pursuit of a simultaneous relationship with Leliana will in no way affect Morrigan's actions at the end of the game. Morrigan will make the same decision regardless. It is also possible to get the elusive Morrigan's ring epilogue and have Leliana stay with you in Denerim, if you choose these options carefully.
