Me? I have been banned from five message boards so far. By my count, I was able to generate at least forty clicks from these message boards before being banned for spamming.

You?

Old Bioboards... for one day. For quote hourglassing. Officially banned by mr Woo. Err, not that I am making it look good, in fact I deserved what was coming for me.

None, it's not sustainable and it isn't worth it for me to try and win that way.

None. I am trying to actually act somewhat responsibly, so my chances of getting anything without an exploit are around 0.

Yeah, I agree. I've given up on the tactic, but some of my posts are still generating clicks...

BioWare wants you to act irresponsibly if it means that a few more people will buy their game.

I wonder when the Internet is going to respond to BioWare's spam campaign.

People with owned games have been banned before. I remember someone from the old forums, being permanently banned, while he had most, if not all, BioWare games registered to date. Problem is, they are very VERY much softer here. Half the place would have been permanently banned on the old forums, if the behavior was the same. We are adults, or want to appear adults, we NEED to act civilly and intelligently. While I myself am found to be fooling around, I never found myself to have trolled anything or anyplace, spammed the site, or otherwise offended someone. And if I have, I ask to forgive me.

Bioware would probably have you burn down an orphanage if you could replace it with a crashed Normandy Model, but it's still quite an annoyance, and you're still very unlikely to get anything for your trouble unless you're using an exploit.

Well, this site isn't exactly on my "to spam" list. I haven't trolled on here either.

Good for you then. So long as you act well, others will (most of them anyway) act well with you. That's my motto.

Indeed. But it doesn't apply to any of the random web forums I have just spammed.

None. I don't go making 20 topics for just clicks, lol.

None here too.

I've been informed that people who spam get sent to a very special Hell reserved for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

I know, society hates spammers, but isn't that what BioWare is encouraging here? To spam links to their websites?

Spam posts removed, and I've just handed out my first ban for spamming one's Bazaar link in a regular discussion thread. And this thread is discussing bans for spamming.

Oh, the irony. :P

I kinda feel bad. I spammed a bit on the Call of Duty forums....Who am I kidding, I hate that game anyway! Though that will be the only time I do it.

None yet. Although I am actually trying to sound like I'm part of the discussion. I gave game advice on two games I didn't own, followed by a link. evil? maybe, working? yes

and on that note: [link removed]

That's sort of what I'm doing. I'm going outside my comfort zone and posting in threads like Samara's appreciation thread hoping to garner a click... despite her being my least favorite squad member in ME2 (and even at that she was pretty cool :)

But I don't spam. I post legitimate replies and am having a fair bit of fun getting involved. Which is the best possible result from this contest, yes?
