That's exactly what I was thinking , this really has potential to be a funny gag for ME3. Maybe a table with a female Krogan, turian and salerian just like the bachelor party in ME2.
 


Turian: Most Turian men SAY they can't stand humans but they see no problem sleeping with the Asari. Hypocrites.

Salerian: Well they are a different species...

Turuan: BARELY, apart from the squid heads and blue skin they look just like them! You point that out and they act like they don't know what you're talking about.

Salerian: The Asari do seem to fascinate males of all races, I wonder why... 

 Krogan: Asari are WH*RES.

Turian: They say they mate with other races to randomize DNA for breeding but I think they're just being greedy. Now they get all the men and we get left without any dates, it’s a crime I tell you.

Krogan: I'd like to see an Asari TRY to steal my mate, I'd knock the blue RIGHT OFF HER ASS.

Turian: And how can one body type be considered attractive to EVERY race in the universe! It doesn't make sense! I think its mind control myself, what other explanation is there?

Salerian:  I'll admit, we could really use a race of handsome males to level the playing field a bit.

Being able to have sex with both genders isn't a male quality. Asari are an all-female race; Bioware tries to call them 'asexual' (dudes that's not even what asexual means, what are you doing), but the damn Codex calls them female. If you want the biological justification, they're female because they gestate and carry young.

It seems to me that Asari are the only femaliens who don't have to make any pretenses about messing with the minds of their lovers...it's sort of an expected part of the relationship.
