Of course this happens when I'm driving for 6 hours.

Where did you go?

I was driving home for Easter Break (I go to a Jesuit College). Drove across Washington State.

Oh really? I go to a Jesuit university myself. I love having Easter off.

Guess you are pretty bummed out about this whole thing, are you?

Not really. There are other website who have my link. Wish I would've known before I left though. Gotta love Gonzaga for giving me 2 days off.

Hm...

Is there some way we can trick people into joining to increase our member count?

Perhaps tempting them with candy in a trash bag?
Or a car?
Or promising the judges backs will be turned?

Who cares, it wasn't like many of us were going to win anyways.

The whole point of this contest was to get people to spam Twitter and the rest of the Internet into oblivion over the mere hope that they might earn enough "tokens" to win a fabulous prize. But, when the Internet refused to cooperate, some people turned to exploits of all sorts.

Also, its impossible to get extra tokens by any other method for this whole weekend, since the twitter challenges will not resume (presumably) until Monday.

So now the only possible way to really up your token count is under immense scrutiny and debate....fun.

What I was referring to? [1]  There are two flip flops that I know of but here is the one I referred too.
  • At or about 3 hours after the Challenge has ended, Sponsor or its designee, the Challenge Judges, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Challenges, will independently evaluate and judge all eligible Submissions received on a per-Challenge basis and select in its sole and absolute discretion up to 100 Submissions that shall win the prize of 500 tokens.
Notice how it says "ALL"? Not some pool of randomly selected entry's.
  • The Challenge Submission Judging shall be based upon the following criteria in the Judges' sole and absolute discretion: 60% creativity, 20% appropriateness to topic, 20% skill and quality of the submission (i.e. grammar and writing skills). The Judges' decisions for any particular Challenge are final and binding.
Did you see the first 8 or so challenges? there was no "why" like there has been lately. Of course, true creativity inspires us to insinuate it into a response.  However, a question like "What did you name your Dog in Dragon Age: Origins" does not demands a great many words to be used in the submission. Additionally the apparent winning entry's of the early ones noticeably lacked said all important creativity. I congratulation anyone and everyone who wins a challenge but they were hardly following their own rules... and yet people like Sloth dare to suggest we should take their rules seriously even as they disregard them without notice? This is why I suggest Chris Priestly and others use some common sense and grant offenders some leeway.

I care precisely because they're disqualifying the people who don't have a shot at the big stuff.
The ones who are going to win the big prizes won't be affected at all. The people who put in the effort to win a small memorabilia just got shafted. The people that put in no effort at all just took the aforementioned's place.

Oh, good shot sir!  I must say that sally has left me without a leg to stand on.  I was thinking of perhaps falling back to "No, you." or "I know you are but what am I?" but I do believe that your well thought out argument has carried the day.  I cede this battle of wits to you, oh erudite master of maturity and panache.

Your attempts to stand on a pedestal and decry what you see as some obvious moral failing comes across much more childish than most of the people whom are asking for clarifcation on this issue.  Your joy is barely contained in the matter, and as you had no stake in this contest, one can only assume that you take pleasure in seeing others equally denied.  You're a bitter little person, one that I likely have wasted time responding to, but I'm sure you'll respond with some snide, sarcastic remark that will further showcase how your idea of fairness is one that uses yourself as the yardstick.

Ahhh, gotcha. I take it that the underlined section has always been there, and only went unnoticed/uncommented by the public at large until now. Good to know it's not random. I will forego comment on any sort of alleged hypocrisy, as I don't really have a stance on that issue.

I will say, however, that in response to "What item should be in the bioware store," I answered with, "N7 Armour Stripe Dog Collar & Leash." Who is with me!?

I still would prefer to have my Asari clone of Liara T'Soni since I can't have her as a squidy.

Q.4T.  And, please ignore Sloth of Doom and his trollish behavior.  That soldier definitely should secure those negative waves.

If it is 'hard' then I think what is fair is to simply zero out the offender's Unique URL Referral line.  I believe that would be the truly fair thing to do.

no the fair thing would be Bioware tells us to stop and make this our one and only warning, then if they find any more people doing it then take the tokens away.

Some people are just too far ahead for Bioware to say "keep the points".  Even if it was an unintentional exploit, the points gained from it can't be valid.  Hopefully they will accept some culpability for this, and do their best to allow us to keep real referral clicks.

You should give people a time-frame to remove it and make a global posting about the new policy. On a related note, how do you clear your signature anyways? I cannot seem to get the IMG-Tag out of my signature. And, yes, now that there is a ruling people should follow it.

LAMEIA BEEN TOLD SON

I shall enjoy my honest bids won with honest tokens.  I won a twitter challenge today ( fav weapon: reapers yup) I'm glad cretins such as yourself won't be diluting the bids with your ill gotten tokens.
