for( $i = 0; $i < 250000; $i++ ) { echo 'http://social.bioware.com/brc/' . $i; }
Ya, it's that easy.

@Lamiea That made me freak out. I don't wanna get banned. (A lot of EA game require you to log in with your account to play, and download DLC. arg.)
That's why I'm not posting anything too aggressive with this account or on this forum - the BioWare ID is tied to all the DLC I own for both DA:O and ME2. Still, I doubt you'll get banned, or even a warning, as it seems that most of the staff have loosened up under the new system... Well everyone except for Chris "Evil" Priestly who seems to have not changed at all.

Heh, that's actually not a bad idea.Six to Eight wrote...
Maybe I should just make a webpage for you addon clickers, where it includes EVERYONE's referral url, that would be fair no?
for( $i = 0; $i
Ya, it's that easy.
Of course if by the time we new if it was considering cheating or not, it'd probably be auction time.

Is BioWare planning on trying to make everything fair (reseting referral tokens to what they think is a reasonable amount) or are they trying to be punitive and just DQ anyone who they think used the img exploit or has too many tokens?

Jesse, are you there? Can you help answer if we're all DQ'd or what's going to happen? And what about some of us who came here, unsure, and then promptly removed the img's when Chris said so? What if we don't have a huge amount of tokens from it (I'm at 6k from referrals atm, but got a lot from the link exchanges, too. Is that a lot? I don't know.)

edit: I just checked Jessie.Reids profile and I couldn't find a job title. do you know what it is exactly?

Yeah that's kind of why I support people's referral points resetting. I don't think it's fair for people to be DQ'd when they didn't know it was cheating and promptly removed it. However, they have points obtained in what Chris considers an unfair way. IDK

"We consider this an exploit/cheating and are tracking it. Anyone found
to use it will lose their tokens Tuesday morning before the auction
begins.
Posting something and asking people to click on it is
fine. Posting something that is going to automatically generate clicks
for you without reader approval (willingness to click) is in our opinion
tantamount to cheating and will not be tolerated."
What needs clarification? People who cheat will lose their tokens before the auction starts. It is pretty clear that everyone who used the exploit (cheating for 5 minutes is still cheating) will lose all of their tokens. If he meant that just the tokens obtained by cheating would be lost, then he would have said that. All cheaters loose all tokens. Why isn't everyone just thankful that the only repercution is losing their ability to bid in an auction instead of being outright banned? There are worse things than to be disqualified from a competition because you were caught cheating...

Wow, Moron. Maybe you should read the thread to figure out what people are currently seeking an answer to.

Well, Chris has finally posted in my thread. It was quite enlightening and I now understand their actions completely. If you would like to see what he said in response to half of the community's concern, please read ahead. The message said:
"Use the existing thread.
LOCKDOWN!"
It ended with a nice evil smiley face that just filled me with joy! Oh wait, that didn't address the issue at all and failed to do anything useful except close a thread where meaningful discussions were taking place. While I understand the need to control "spam", I really think an official response would have been more productive, in the fact that if the issue is addressed reasonably, spam probably wouldn't happen. I believe that the general motive behind Chris's post, and lack of official response is this: "If we, BioWare, a large and respected game developer, just ignore half of the fanbase, than the problem will probably just go away.". While this probably will be the end result because they don't seem to want to respond to their community and it's questions; it's just sad the it comes down to that, and not a more preferable outcome.
For reference my thread is here: http://social.biowar...3/index/2027838 . Chris's post is the last one on the last page.
Wow, that was so cool of him. Hey, send this stuff to Kotaku. It's time Chris, this site, and Bioware got torn a new **** again with the game-buying public. :happy:

I'd read it, the Kotaku article, and then comment on it! (Without fear of it being considered spam and LOCKDOWNed)

If they want to bann/suspend me for simply clicking and reporting them for abuse, one time? I am ok with that. I have zero tolerance for people with overly inflated egos... I simply refuse to acknowledge them... the egos that is.Ranger115 wrote...
@Jax Sparrow, I don't know about that one. While it would get attention I'm pretty sure that I have seen users get in trouble for doing something similar to that on other forums. While this image tag problem is annoying, I don't want to see anyone banned/suspended.

Wow, Moron. Maybe you should read the read to figure out what people are currently seeking an answer to.
Read the read? And you're calling me names? People are complaining about why Chris isn't responding and people are trying to debate/bicker over what will happen with the tokens. That is what my post was addressing, or didn't you "read the read?"

You're paying attention to the wrong posts, e.g. getting trolled.
Edit: I don't mean to sound rude. Clarification: Half the posts in this thread are garbage, because the trolls are only allowed to post in this one, any other threads made are locked down.
