i have no real complaints about the contest, i am participating, but i see some people are just spamming the twitter feed since there is no limit to entries per challenge. i haven't won yet so i might try the spam tactic but personally i'd imagine that would just result in not being picked. who knows

According to the rules, they only take the last entry per person per challenge. Spamming the twitter feed with multiple entries doesn't help anything.

Rulez
Each change or edit to your Entry on Twitter during a Challenge, before the countdown clock reaches 00:00:00, will be viewed as a new contest Entry. You may submit multiple entries to Challenges, but are only eligible to win one prize per Challenge.

I'm looking now and I think I misread something, as I thought there was something in there about only the last entry counting, but I can't find it now. Sorry.

Jesse has stated that the polled pool contains no duplicates, so multiple submissions has no effect on winning chances.

It says that you can submit as many entries as you want but only the last one will be counted as your official entry. Keep reading passed the bottom of that quote.

So multiple answers does not improve my selection? I thought I read somewhere that they do a random drawing and select from those winners, which would make it seem as if multiple posts procures a greater chance of victory.

They do -- from a pool made up of every participant's latest answer.HookersandBlow wrote...

Crap, so I should be posting my greatest work as the last post?

People have won with one- or two-word answers. Your last post should be whatever you believe at the time.

How do you know who's been winning and with what?

They've said as much.

I guess I'm reading the wrong threads.

My tweets have been AWESOME. Yet I haven't won a single challenge. They are lost in the vast amount of spam. So sad.

I must attest. I believe my witty little quips have been deemed point worthy, but I have been lost in a tweet spam. Whats worse is that people with one word posts are getting points while the rest of us get screwed.

WTF I am starting to think this challenge thing is fake. Done good tweets for each challenge and haven't won one...

I wouldn't be surprised if the judges just got lazy after awhile and didn't read all of the entries. There has to be thousands of entries per challenge and, well... I don't trust anybody to have enough patience to read all of them and give them a fair shake.

They should have hired extra people to judge with the prospect of earning points, but of course I am sure some of the less noble ppl would prefer their friends

They've outright said in a different thread that a computer randomly chooses 2k entries, and that's the pool the judge from.
I thought much like you are, that the contest itself was screwy with it's rules and such, but just today I've won 2 challenges back to back. I lost the first 11, or wasn't considered.
So essentially, there's 2 contests going on here. The first contest is something you can't effect, that being the random choices made by some unfeeling machine who knows where, and the second is of course your response.

So with that being said, shouldnt spamming multiple answers effect your chances, as they will improve the likelihood of the computer selecting one of yours?...

Just keep trying. I was ready to give up and I finally won one.
