Are you a Canadian, or love Canadians?

here is your chance to show support for the great Canadian Company that made its way into our hearts and game collections.

In addition, its a great place to talk about anything Canadian, as well as a Canadian residency check in station :D

Enjoy! <3 BioWare.

Ya we did help design the nuke and provide the radioactive fuel for fat man and little boy, at least one American recognizes that fact.

haha, its all fine and good. perhaps you can bring over the convo to http://social.bioware.com/group/1810/ And join to show your support. |Its for everyone

in regards to your canadian friend drinking milk from a bag. Well... i honestly cannot think of ANY place in 1000 miles that sells milk in bags. So he must have a bag container he drinks milk out of.

I prefer out of the JUG, or Carton.

What makes me Canadian? I have a 10ft by 15ft Canadian flag in my house hanging on the Wall for all to see. My neighbors have flags too, and on every major corner or building, there is a massive canadian Flag that i admire everytime i drive by.

Helps having a speaking habit to say "... eh." at the end of some sentences.

PS. your not canadian if you use "Eh" before or during the sentence.

I've never met a fellow Canadian who ends their sentences with 'eh'.
I don't get this stupid friggin' 'criteria' to be a Canadian. You don't need to end your sentences with an 'eh', you don't need to live in a igloo, you don't need to drink maple syrup or do any of those things. If you were born in Canada and consider it your home, you're Canadian. End of story.

Yikes, someone is cranky. When did i ever post the Criteria to be Canadian? Saying Eh at the end of sentences at least for me comes very naturally, as it does for most of my friends and people i meet.

Thing is that not ALL canadians are like that, Therefore its not criteria. neither did i suggest it. Chances are if you lived anywhere near me, didnt go to clubs*, and perhaps talked to College students, you Will find those that occasionally(once or twice a week) say Eh unitentionally at the end of sentences, as its the perfect attention grabber.... eh. Therefore we use it.

*issue with clubs is that they encompass both the hard week-escapee's( no issue) and the low-lives going nowhere next to the Oil patch guys boozing away their money for a cheap date. usually too caught up in being drunk/idiotic to use such slang. However if you end up at a college, a bank, a park, a theatre, a gym.... chances are you will find someone havign their occasional slip of the Eh.

Somehow we got trademarked and it became a signature like Tim hortons mugs.

Thing is, not to overuse it.(yes im tempted)

It has to do with Quebec, they measure out the milk in litre bags...hence the "bag" comment.   Yeah some stores sell it like that elsewhere in Canada, but Quebec was the first province where I saw that.

Healthier if the container does not let in light,  otherwise the vitamins get stripped from the milk.  :)

Just a bit of trivial knowledge :)

Oh the other thing we are "supposed" to say..is "aboot" ...first time I heard this was from some American friends over Ventrilo. I kind of scratched my head, because..normally I am told that I sound more like a Californian, than anything else, due to living on the West coast of Canada.

The only Canadians that I know of that would pronounce "about" as "aboot" would be Newfoundlanders..or recently immigrated Scottish people, other than that, Canada has a large amount of different cultures all living together in this beautiful country. :)
