Electronic Arts HQ is in Redwood City, California. Electronic Arts owns and manages Bioware. Whatever is in Edmonton, it's not a headquarter.tony2077 wrote...

Bioware isn't Canadian, is it? Bioware is owned by Electronic Arts, an US American company. Wouldn't that make Bioware US American?
The heads are all in California.
And last I checked, California was US American.
Seriously, what isn't translating here?
Why good sir. BioWare is not the same as EA. BioWare is a branch. For that matter it is a CANADIAN branch. Sorry, I know you have all this US pride you wanna share... but dude, take a break. We (yes, Puerto Rico is a US Commonwealth) have Hollywood, New York, Jim Carrey and Marvel. You gonna fight over this?

Wow you actually say ",eh" in the end? I thought it was a myth.
Sometimes...and..sometimes on purpose if I know Americans are listening in, I like to give them a thrill every so often...(kidding..but it does make me laugh)

But seriously this caught me by surprised. Here in Puerto Rico we just move our hands when we talk... A LOT! Like most of the time you start saying something and next thing you know your hands are moving. Oh and the famous "Spanglish". I never know when I start mixing, I just do.

I don't like canada, I try not to think about them being canadian when I'm playing the game. When I do remember this fact during a game, I tense up waiting for a really bad 'americans are fat' joke or 'we burned the white house' bit or something else claiming that some thing or event is only possible because of canada.
Only time you see me mention the White House..is when some bold American tries to tell me to meekly allow them to invade Canada and annex us...muahaha.
Damned rights I would.

I like poutine. So hard to get good poutine in America.
You can't get decent scones, banecks and briddies either. Nor can you get a decent butter tart. But as a Canadian living in Texas, there are somethings worthwhile here.
I miss Calgary, and especially the western skies and mountains.

With the education system in the USA, they need to import engineers and technologists. Most American developments maybe through US owned companies, but with foreign techs and scientists. Canadians make up a lot of them. Just the facts.
The Texas board of education, although it is great at turning out Baptist preachers and Creationists, is revamping their text books. It seems that Thomas Jefferson, a founding father of the US Revolution, is way too liberal. He pushed the idea of "Seperation of Church and State." Well they are dropping him from text books and they are "re-habilitating" Senator Joe McCarthy. Whose inquisition led to one of the darkest periods of American history, branding people as communists by simple hearsay.
Microsoft does the major bits of programming in India, so Bioware using the Canadian talent pool is not unusual.
Please do some fact checkjing on the post I just made, the bit about the Texas text books is really disturbing, but true. But the world needs more Creationist Baptist preachers I guess.
