Time for something truly off-topic.
What make and model car do you drive regularly to work, school, etc?
I drive a 1998 Blue Nissan Quest (yea, a mini-van with only 3 doors). It sucks up gas like crazy but it gets me to class and back.
What about you?
What type of car to you drive and why?

1996 Toyota Rav-4. I drive this thing back and forth from class to my home. And also have enough room for me and 4 other friends to do whatever.
I drive ti around mostly because I needed a ride and this one was the best at the car lot I was looking at. Didn't cost me too much of an arm and a leg to get.

A Buick Gran Sport. I forget the year. Late eighties, early nineties though. Why? Because it was given to me and I don't have to pay for maintenance. A car is just a means to end for me. As long as it moves and isn't falling apart, I'll drive it.

Hey, nice thread!
i have 1 and a half cars. (i'll explain)
the one i drive is a 1993 Ford Royale. Why? Because it has a very good engine that i can fix myself and it has all the luxury items of all the good cars, it cost me less than U$5000 , the insurance is quite low, robbers don't pay attention to it, and it's quite powerful when i need it.
The half-car is an old 1966 VW Beetle that i'm slowly rebuilding to its former glory.

If i can't find the original parts i will go crazy and turn it into a drag-car, or an off-roader

I drive a Silver '02 Honda Civic EX. It got handed down to me when my dad bought a new Mazda 6. It's a nice reliable car, but when I get out of college and eventually buy my own, I hope to get a Nissan 370Z.

I don't drive cars because they're bad for the environment, and global warming will come and get us if we continue.

I don't drive now, and I intend to stay that way and take public transport for as long as possible. My main reason isn't the global warming issue, but rather the fact that I'm stereoblind (unable to see in 3D and hence judge depth and distance accurately). Last time I got into an accident because of this, and I ended up blowing half my monthly salary on the other person's car paint job. Driving seems to be a dangerous - and expensive - ordeal as far as I'm concerned. Call me cowardly, perhaps (my mom actually did), but I'd rather not subject myself or others to the consequences.

why? because it was relatively affordable, I've always loved the model, and I won't be needing it next year when I move to the city for college.

A black '96 Pontiac Sunfire GT. Why? Well, mostly because it was used and rather cheap, and was given to me when I started driving a couple years ago. I like it, though. There's nothing really wrong with it. It had a few minor problems when we got it, but those have mostly been fixed now.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it's not the best in the snow, and that can be pretty annoying for much of the year when you live where I do. Still, it isn't too bad in it (at least at city speeds, and I hardly ever drive on the freeway).
