Couldn't live without a motor. Nearest train station or bus stop is 3 miles away and neither have great regularity. Only two taxi firms here and they only seem to work school times and weekends.

Unfortunate. I am lucky that at either end of my street are bus routes that cover most it the area, I can walk to the grocery story in 15 minutes and if I need a cab, I can get one quick.

Sure beats putting gas in the tank at 90+ cents a litre.

Hell, that is cheap. We are currently paying up to 120 pence per litre in the UK. It hurts, it really hurts.

It sure does....I get 25mpg from mine :P

..Jealous. I am so ridiculously jealous. I'd consider trading my soul for a mustang.

Uh. I don't have a car to drive of my own. The only options I get are to borrow my parents' cars. :crying:

I have a 15 minute walk to work, and a 15 minute bus-ride to the centre of York (which has great rail links to just about anywhere in Britain) so I don't feel the need to drive a car. I'd rather spend my money on other things for now.

And the walking I have to do keeps me from bloating up like a blimp. I feel healthier walking daily. And the money saved lets me buy CRPGs:)

Haha in my case it  probably limits bloating rather than eliminates it entirely, but it does feel good to walk. :)

A Chopper (Bike). Custom built by me and my army mates and named the Bloodrunner. I drive it because it has great speed and handles almost perfectly and is relatively cheap since its been made fuel efficient and all i need to fix it are the parts.

I´m poor like a rat, so I cannot afford a car. If I could, my options would be arround:

-Land Rover Defender: my old workhorse when I worked in archeology. I LOVED that car.

-Jeep Wrangler: my other workorse and as used as the Land Rover.

-Ford Mustang: the very first car my family had was a Ford and the Mustang is a beautiful thing I have always liked.

I also drive a 95 Ford Escort.  I think it's 95 % willpower that gets it up to interstate speeds but it is a good little car.

It's a white and blue one. My car was totaled two days before I needed to drive cross-county for my sophmore year of college, so I took my mom's, she got a new one, and I've had this ever since.

Thats a F100 I believe I could not find a good one of a 1978 ford ranger 350 like I have owned for 15+ years now, but damn my truck is a monster and I love it :)
Just imagine something bigger, raised 6 more inchs, and all white.

LOL. You just reminded me of how me and my two best friends growing up would hide one of their borthers or my sisters escort.  I think they both had a 89 or something like that but we would just pop it into neutral and push it down the street in the middle of the night.

We have two cars, my wife drives a 2008 Audi S4, and I have a 2010 Nissan GT-R. Before that I drove a Peugot 207 for ages. I liked it and I miss it's fuel economy, but after 12 years it was time for a major upgrade.

BMW 530D '01, a Turbo Diesel car.

Like BMWs in general, it is very nice and smooth to drive, and thanks to turbodiesel engine it is very powerfull and is still has great mileage. Not as much HP as naturally aspirated gasoline version of same size engine, but much more torque that are available right away from low RPM AND eats much less fuel too. A perfect car IMHO, strong and still perfectly sane.

Im in the process of buying old 3rd Gen Pontiac Firebird/Transam or Camaro for not-so-sane V8 engined summer car.

I drive a toffee-colored used SUV, from the 90s, Lexus -- don't know which model -- because it was cheap! It smells like wet dog whenever I turn on the AC and the gas mileage sucks...!

Haha! Love the Weiner-mobile tough! XD

Black 1987 Pontiac Fiero SE. It was cheap, looks nice (some stupid girls think its a Ferarri or something haha), sounds good, handles well, and gets decent gas mileage.

(this one isnt mine, but mine looks exactly like that. i cant find a picture of mine at the moment)

My next car would definitely be a white, lifted Jeep Rubicon. I love the Lower40 concept. This would come along after I graduate college and get an awesome job.

I'm also seriously considering getting a baby blue1960's Triumph Bonneville. Just something to roam around town in.
